On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Jiujiang's recovery from British Concession from 65438 to 0997, some Municipal People's Congress deputies and CPPCC members put forward a proposal to establish a monument to Jiujiang's recovery from British Concession at the "two sessions" in Jiujiang. The issue of monument building was quickly passed at the joint meeting of the Party and government in Jiujiang City, and the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee submitted the "Request for Instructions" to the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC.
