Mayangxi Eco-tourism Zone was established in June 2004 with the approval of Zhangzhou Municipal People's Government. The region borders Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Longhai respectively. After the opening of Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway 20 12, it only takes 20 minutes to drive to Xiamen Haicang Bridge, and the traffic is very convenient. The total land area of the whole region is 1.38 square kilometers, and it governs four administrative villages, namely Shili, Wang Ting, Houfang and Zhongshan, and Tiancheng community, with a population of 1. 1 10,000. Third, develop leisure tourism. Continue to launch the brand of "Fujian first drifting" and strive to build the largest sports park in the province that integrates golf practice, hot springs, archery and rock climbing;

Fourth, develop eco-tourism. Give full play to the natural advantages of beautiful mountains and rivers, and rely on Fujian China Travel Service Group to jointly build a provincial-level rural tourism demonstration site-Gushan Heavy Scenic Area; Develop original ecological tourist attractions such as Shili Blue Mountain, Dream Valley Waterfall Group, Tianzhu Mountain National Forest Park and Tiancheng Mountain to create a veritable "Xiamen Back Garden";

Fifth, develop cultural tourism. Dig deep into cultural resources, and build classic cultural industrial park, Zhangtai cultural industrial park, Guqin cultural industrial park and farming cultural experience park with China Hanwenyuan, Shi Lian Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Longren Guqin Cultural Village, Zhongshan and Houfang Village as platforms.

The tourist area has formed two characteristic areas: the southern leisure resort and the northern original ecological tourist area.
