The origin of Zhuangyuan Street

The origin of the name "Zhuangyuan Street" is not small. According to legend, there were two brothers named Yin Shu and Yin Ji in the Tang Dynasty. After they won the championship, they built the champion residence here. Later, in order to commemorate them, Langzhong people named this street "Zhuangyuan Street".

The wooden doors and windows are carved with fine patterns, which are varied and exquisite, and there is no repetition. This is really a beautiful work of art.

Every yard has ginkgo, grapefruit, osmanthus and other trees. Some trees are a hundred years old. People take a leisurely walk in the yard, as if returning to the scene of ancient homeowners living leisurely in the yard.

Many shops in Zhuangyuan Street have the words "Zhang Fei", "Zhang Fei Beef" and "Zhang Fei Bookstore". It turns out that there is a Zhangfei Temple here. Zhang Fei was a satrap in Langzhong for seven years. In order to commemorate him, people built the "Huanhou Temple" in the "Zhuangyuan Street" in Langzhong. There is a statue and grave of Zhang Fei in Zhangfei Temple, and two ministers who killed Zhang Fei are kneeling beside the grave. The death of Zhang Fei is quite legendary. It is said that when Zhang Fei sleeps, the two ministries will put a knife rest around his neck, but they dare not kill him. Zhang Fei, who was asleep, thought it was a mosquito biting himself. The knife was cut off when he slapped him. Hey! Zhang Fei, who was all-powerful in the battlefield all his life, died like this. It's a pity that I think of the "Zhang Fei Temple" in Yunyang, the Three Gorges that has been flooded. If you want to mourn Zhang Fei in the future, you can only go to Langzhong.
