Itinerary

Liu took Finnair flight AY1386 from Dublin Airport in Ireland on January 2, 2021, and arrived in Helsinki, Finland on January 3. He waited for 18 hours to transfer. Nucleic acid and antibody tests were conducted within the hospital, and both were negative. He took Juneyao Airlines flight HO1608 to Shanghai at 17:35 local time and entered Shanghai Pudong Airport at 8:30 on January 4. He wore a mask throughout the entire journey. A special car was sent from Shanghai to transport him to Shanghai Huangcheng Crystal Hotel for centralized isolation and medical observation for 3 days.

At 11:30 on January 7, he was transferred from Shanghai to Kunshan by special car, and then sent to Home Inn Select Hotel in Danyang City to continue centralized isolation medical observation.

The centralized quarantine was lifted on January 18, and his father drove a private car to pick him up. On the way home, he passed by Danyang Optical City. At 16:16, he wore an N95 mask and went to Carlson Optical Store in District 2 for an optometry and glasses. , left Danyang and went home at 17:01.

On January 19, Liu did not go out at home.

From 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. on January 20, Liu’s parents drove him in a private car to the Runzhou District Center for Disease Control and Prevention for a nucleic acid test, and the result was negative.

At 18:34 on the evening of January 20, Liu and his mother rode a battery scooter to Changshen Supermarket in Changfa Plaza and entered through entrance D12. Liu wore an N95 mask. The two first browsed the bakery, frozen, and fruit sections, and then ate at the "Special Snack Malatang Shop" in the supermarket at 18:50. From 19:20, browse and shop in the toiletries area, candy area, food area, milk area, and low-temperature milk area. At 19:54, his mother checked out and left home together, wearing an N95 mask during the trip.

At 17:00 on January 21, Liu felt unwell and his body temperature was measured at 37.5°C. His parents drove him to the fever clinic of Zhenjiang First People's Hospital for treatment. Liu wore an N95 mask. At 2:30 on January 22, he was transferred from the Municipal Emergency Center 120 to Zhenjiang Infectious Disease Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently stable.

As of 14:00 on January 22, the results of 3 close family contacts and 25 environmental sampling tests were all negative.

Zhenjiang Municipal Health Commission Recommendations

Here, we recommend that citizens who have crossed paths with Liu in the above process should take the following measures in accordance with relevant regulations on infectious disease prevention and control:

1. Immediately register with your community or village committee. The community or village committee must report to the local new coronavirus epidemic prevention and control headquarters as soon as possible and continue to track the feedback;

2. Reduce contact with others, avoid participating in gathering activities, and do not go out at home within 14 days;

3. During this period, if you develop respiratory symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough, or other discomfort, please contact Danyang CDC or Runzhou District CDC as soon as possible. You will be accompanied by a dedicated person to a medical institution designated by the health administration department. Fever clinics provide standardized treatment.
