Wanlong Ski Resort is located in Honghualiang, Chongli, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is the first open ski resort in China, covering an area of 48 square kilometers. The highest point is 2 1 10.3 meters above sea level, with a vertical drop of 550 meters, 249 kilometers away from Beijing and 60 kilometers away from Zhangjiakou.

There are 14 primary, intermediate and advanced snow trails developed in the first, second and third phases of Wanlong Ski Resort, with a total area of over 470,000 square meters, including advanced Jinlong Road 1.900 meters, Yinlong Road 2050 meters and Longfei Road 1.300 meters. Yulong road is 2500 meters long. There are two double-chair ropeways with a total passenger capacity per unit time 1950 person/hour, two four-chair ropeways with a speed of 2.25m/s and a total passenger capacity per unit time of 3 1000 person/hour, and there are magic carpets specially equipped for junior skiers. In terms of snow hardware facilities, Wanlong Ski Resort is equipped with several snow machines, snowmobiles and snowmobiles imported from Canada and Japan. These snow machines fully guarantee the best operating environment of ski resorts.

As an international ski resort, Wanlong Ski Resort has reached a considerable quality and scale, and has been widely recognized by the society and the industry. Some snow trails have been certified by FIS. Wanlong Ski Resort successfully held the 6th China Chongli International Ski Festival from 2003 to 2006. In the snow season of 2004/05, Wanlong Ski Resort also hosted the Wanlong Solomon Cup Alpine Ski International Friendly Tournament and Lenovo Cup National Popular Alpine Ski Series (the eighth stop) with high quality. In the snow season of June 2005 and July 2006, four competitions were successfully held, namely FIS Alpine Skiing Solomon Series in 2005 and 2006, the first and second MELLOW Bandung Snowboarding Tour, Xue Fei National Popular Skiing Series and the second and third Bandung Solomon Cup Series.

In the 2007-2008 snow season, four new snow trails (Youlong Road, Zhonghua Long Road, Long Xuan Road and Longteng Road) will be opened on the basis of previous years.
