Memories of Tibet (2)

Later, I felt worse and worse in Lhasa. We agreed it wouldn't be too hard. Say no, I can't sleep well every night. I have to wake up every two hours and I can't sleep in a daze. Once it was winter, and I woke up before four o'clock at night, feeling thirsty. Fortunately, I saved a cup of hot water with a cup my wife bought me specially before going to bed. I can drink a little to moisten my throat, otherwise my throat will burn, which is too uncomfortable.

I went to the toilet, refused to approve my coat, and fought several cold wars in a row. My nose was blocked and I could only vent through one nostril, and soon it was like a fire in my nostrils. I can only breathe through my mouth. I haven't breathed a few times, and my mouth is dry. I have to keep drinking water. Drinking too much water and constantly going to the toilet is very painful! This place is too dry.

I really can't sleep. I think it's boring to read books, browse news and watch videos on my mobile phone. I don't feel well all over. I feel very hot when I put my legs under the covers. As soon as I stretched out of bed, a chill immediately hit my heart from the soles of my feet. I couldn't help shivering and had to shrink back.

At first, because of the feeling of dizziness, Tibet was compared to first love. Now it is estimated that the honeymoon period has passed, and we both begin to dislike each other. Maybe my fate with Tibet really came to an end.

Looking back on my experience in Tibet in recent years, I think this experience is very worth cherishing. In order to keep my memory, here are some fragments that left a deep impression on me in Tibet in the past:

& gt& gt The first time I went to Lhasa, the highly transparent air, the blue sky and the bright sunshine that I haven't seen in the mainland for many years made me like Tibet at once.

On the first night of>& gt's hotel stay, my roommate Mr. Li hardly slept because of altitude sickness. He got up at 7 o'clock the next day and went to the hospital for oxygen. And I don't feel bad at all;

& gt& gt I talked with the boss of the company to the Health Planning Commission. Later, on the way back to the hotel, my colleague felt that I was walking too fast and he was out of breath. In order to show no response, I ran up the slope from the first floor of the hotel to the second floor, which surprised my boss. I felt very proud at the time. Unexpectedly, this is one of the reasons why the leader asked me to take the project later, which was unexpected.

& gt& gt The first time I went to Jokhang Temple, seeing so many people kowtowing with my own eyes gave me a great psychological shock, which made me truly see the power of faith for the first time.

& gt& gt Every time I go to Lhasa, I usually get up at four o'clock, catch the 6: 50 plane, transfer at Xi 'an and arrive in Lhasa at 3: 30 in the afternoon. Every time I take a taxi to the airport and look at the dark sky outside, I feel that I am really struggling;

& gt& gt went to Zhanang County for the first time, and the owner of the car rental agency told us that the driver's license was deducted 12 points for speeding, and they could only help me eliminate the points, at a cost of 7,000 yuan. Xiao Xie, who was afraid of driving, stopped when he saw the sign of speed limit of 30. I said it should be okay to follow other cars, but he insisted on following the signs. As a result, we drove for more than three hours after more than an hour's journey. Manager Sun and I were depressed by the bus. But the scenery along the road is really beautiful;

& gt& gt I drove to Shannan countryside for investigation, stayed with Mr. Sun in my mother's hometown for one night, and got up at 7 o'clock the next day in a hurry. Walking along the mountain road, we saw the sunrise. In the distance, the mountain peaks are dyed golden yellow by the sun, and there is an endless sea of clouds below, while the valley where we are located is still dark. We both think this is the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen;

& gt& gt Some research sites are far away, and only need to apply for border defense certificates. I also made one, and I still cherish it now;

& gt& gt ate a bowl of Tibetan noodles during the inspection, which should be made of highland barley flour. The taste is so rough that I can't taste anything but salt. This kind of sweet tea is delicious. Mr. Sun and I drank all the sweet tea in the thermos.

& gt& gt On the way to investigate, there was a section of the mountain where our car was trapped because of snow and ice. All the cars coming and going stopped on their own initiative, helped us move the stones to cushion the wheels, and pushed the cars out of the mud pit together. I was deeply impressed by the kindness and enthusiasm of the mountain people. Also that time, I took off my coat and moved stones, took a few breaths of air conditioning and coughed for more than a month. Fortunately, I returned to Shanghai in time without pulmonary edema;

During the>& gt Tourism Festival, I signed up for a tour group to Linzhi. As a result, it snowed heavily the night before departure. After getting up, I enjoyed the beautiful snow scene in Lhasa, but I was also worried that my trip would be ruined by heavy snow. As a result, the weather was fine all the way, and the snow scene was particularly beautiful, especially in a section of the Yarlung Zangbo River. The river, snow-capped mountains, white clouds, safflower and green willows complement each other, which is really a fairyland on earth.

& gt& gt In contrast to the beautiful natural environment, the living conditions of Tibetans are simple. Especially when I go to the toilet, I almost go in and out with one breath, which feels worse than the toilet in rural homes 30 years ago. Lhasa is a little better, and the living conditions in the following counties and towns are more than 50 years different from those in the mainland;

& gt& gt In order to catch up with the next day's investigation, Manager Sun and I drove along the mountain road in the middle of nowhere at night. The road conditions are not so good either. There are mountains on the right and ditches on the left. Because it's dark, it's dark below, I don't know how deep it is. We drove regardless and didn't arrive at Qusong County until 9: 30. After dinner, we searched for a long time before finding a hotel. The room price is not cheaper than that in the mainland, but my room doesn't even have running water. I wonder when the sheets and quilts have been changed. The color is black and it smells bad. I just endured the discomfort in my heart and took off my coat and slept all night;

& gt& gt Because of the Tourism Festival, I visited the Potala Palace for free. I'm amazed at all kinds of Buddha statues made of huge gold. It is said that the most worthless thing in Potala Palace is gold, and those gems, jadeites, dzi beads and so on embedded in gold are truly priceless. It's interesting to see a Lama playing mobile phone in it, and I feel that no matter how firm my faith is, I can't stand the invasion of secular materialism.

& gt& gt Although there is little opposition, it has almost formed a law. Every time I come to Lhasa, I can't sleep for at least one night.

& gt& gt Because of the long project time, we rented a house with three bedrooms and one living room in Liu Wu New District. I also bought bedding specially. I've stayed more often and feel better than staying in a hotel. I feel at home every time I come.

& gt& gt Go to a restaurant for breakfast every morning, and the content is basically a fixed bowl of millet porridge and a fried dough stick. I'm going to throw up after dinner, but there's nothing else I want to eat.

In a word, this mysterious land of Tibet left a deep impression on me. The three years' experience here has become an indelible part of my life and a very special part. I hope she can keep this purity, this primitiveness and this belief forever.
