Basic introduction of Zushan

Zushan is located in Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City. Because the peaks north of Bohai Sea and east of Yanshan Mountain are all formed by its branches, it is named "the ancestor of mountains". Its highest peak, Tiannv Peak, is 1428 meters above sea level, slightly lower than Mount Tai. Climbing to Mount Tiannv, watching the sunrise in the east, chasing sails in the south, watching the Great Wall in the west and overlooking the mountains in the north are all things that Mount Tai does not have.

Tourists come back to say that Zushan has fantastic mountain scenery and Ming Xiu water scenery, and contemporary poet Cang Kejia praises it as "picturesque". However, Zushan is unknown, and perhaps its beauty remains to be discovered and proved. Famous scenic spots include: Wulong Valley, the Buddha's Light in the Sea of Clouds, the Fairy Cloud Bed and Waterfall Valley.
