1. Northern Shaanxi Yangge
Northern Shaanxi Yangge is a widely popular and representative traditional dance art form spread in the northern Shaanxi Plateau, also known as "Nao Honghuo" "Yangko", "Shehuo", "Yangge" and so on. It is mainly distributed in Yulin, Yan'an, Suide, Mizhi and other places in northern Shaanxi, among which Suide Yangge is the most representative.
Northern Shaanxi Yangko is a form of collective dance performed in squares, courtyards, streets and other places. It is mainly performed during the Spring Festival and when commemorating spring and autumn. ?
2. Yulin Xiaoqu
Yulin Xiaoqu is a folk rap art form that was produced and spread among the towns in Yulin City. According to legend, Yulin Xiaoqu was produced in the Ming Dynasty. The content of Yulin ditties mainly reflects the taste of urban life, and a large proportion of them describe the emotions of separation and love between men and women. The structure of Yulin Xiaoqu is divided into two forms: Xiaoqu (i.e. single song) and joint song (i.e. couplet).
There are about 50 instrumental music pieces. The accompaniment instruments of the ditty include dulcimer, guzheng, pipa, sanxian, jinghu, disc, etc. The ditty can be sung by one person alone or duet by two people; it can be sung while sitting or standing; the accompanist can also sing in different professions.
3. Folk songs of northern Shaanxi
Folk songs of northern Shaanxi are regional folk songs spread in northern Shaanxi and surrounding areas of northern Shaanxi such as Shanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, and Hebei. They are popular among the people. A folk art form of poetic oral creation formed in long-term production and life practice. The forms of folk songs in northern Shaanxi are mainly Xintianyou and minor tunes.
Because northern Shaanxi has been relatively closed for a long time, the ancient art form of northern Shaanxi folk songs still maintains many characteristics of the early national culture and has high historical and artistic value. Northern Shaanxi folk songs have been included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists.
4. Qingjian Taoqing
Qingjian Taoqing is a folk art form spread in Qingjian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Qingjian Daoqing has a long history, beginning in the Tang Dynasty and taking shape in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a history of more than 1,300 years. Qingjian Daoqing was originally performed in a class, but later, influenced by Jin Opera and Shanxi Daoqing, it gradually developed into a folk art form of singing and dancing that can be performed in squares and stages.
The basic tunes of Qingjian Taoism draw on and combine elements of Qinqiang, Meihu, Wanwanqiang and northern Shaanxi folk songs to form music with strong local color in northern Shaanxi. The main tunes are "Ping Tune" There are nine categories including "Cross Tune", "Cool Tune" and "Yizhimei". The lyrics and dialogue are in local dialects, which are concise and easy to understand. The main accompaniment instruments include flute, pipe, three-stringed instrument, four-note instrument, banhu, wooden fish, etc.
5. Fugu Erntai
Fugu Erntai can be divided into ballad style and narrative style. The content of the works mostly reflects the taste of rural life, among which plays reflecting the love between men and women and anti-feudal plays account for a large proportion. The singing uses a combination of real and false voices, with cadences, bright drawl, high pitch, bright, melodious and beautiful.
