On July 11, a suspected food poisoning incident occurred in Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The local hospital admitted 50 patients. It turned out that 50 patients had attended a wedding banquet together at noon on the 10th. The hotel where the wedding banquet is currently held has been sealed. The cause of the accident is still under further investigation.

What happened:

From 17:20 on July 10, patients with vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms came to Tuoketuo County Hospital in Hohhot City. Due to the number of patients, The number of cases gradually increased, and the hospital sent additional medical staff to provide full treatment, and at the same time reported the cases to the county party committee, county government and relevant departments in a timely manner.

In response to this incident, the Tuoketuo County People's Government immediately launched an emergency response plan, and relevant departments such as public security, food and medicine, health, and disease control successively intervened in the investigation. Based on the patient's clinical symptoms, physical signs and test results, Tuoketuo County Hospital made an impression diagnosis of food-borne illness (suspected food poisoning).

Currently, Tuoketuo County Hospital *** admits 50 patients, of which 7 elderly patients and 1 pregnant patient with underlying diseases have been transferred to Inner Mongolia Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University respectively, and the rest The patients were treated and observed at Tuoketuo County Hospital. All patients were in stable condition, and 3 patients have recovered and been discharged.

It is understood that the wedding hotel involved is the Fulinmen Hotel in the county. The hotel has been sealed and the relevant personnel have been controlled. The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
