Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) Municipality on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution

Thirty-eighth in violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, any of the following acts shall be punished by the public security department in accordance with the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security:

(a) without the approval of the people's governments at or above the county level, using high-power loudspeakers or broadcast propaganda vehicles in public areas such as streets, squares, parks, convalescent areas and scenic spots;

(2) Make a loud noise to attract customers;

(3) making noise that seriously interferes with others indoors or in public places;

(4) Failing to install or use a special vehicle alarm as required;

(5) Driving a motor vehicle or vessel at a place and time where driving is prohibited.
