Huguo Xingjiao Temple is located on the Shaoling River in Duqu Street, Chang 'an District, Xi City.

Xingjiao Temple, located about 20km south of Xi 'an, beside Shaoling in Duqu Town, Chang 'an District, is the burial place of Master Xuanzang, a famous translator and traveler in Tang Dynasty. Xingjiao Temple faces south, with solemn climate and beautiful scenery, overlooking Zhong Nanshan. It is a scenic spot for Buddhists to visit and admire Xuanzang's remains. There is a bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty and a jade Buddha of Myanmar in the temple, as well as thousands of books of past dynasties.

In 664, Master Xuanzang, a famous monk, died and was buried in Bailuyuan. In the second year of Tang Gaozong (AD 669), it was reburied as Fengqi Plateau in Fan Chuan, with five spires. The following year, because the pagoda built the temple, Tang Suzong inscribed the word "Xingjiao", hence the name Xingjiao Temple.
