What do you think of the movie "More Than Friend"?
I took the time to watch this movie yesterday. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Of course, the disappointment is not directed at the actors themselves, but at the discussion of the plot.
In order to emphasize that the relationship between the two male and female protagonists is "more than friendship", the screenwriter made the male protagonist protect the female protagonist in various ways for many years. This is not wrong, but the prerequisite is that you are single.
How does the plot work? The female protagonist went to Malay to catch her boyfriend raping her. She thought she was pregnant. Her first reaction was to call the male protagonist. However, the male protagonist immediately abandoned her and her without saying a word. My girlfriend who came to Myanmar together bought a plane ticket and went to Malaysia to find the heroine without even thinking about it? !
What kind of ridiculous operation is this?
When you are pregnant, shouldn’t your first reaction be to find your boyfriend? Of course, there is nothing wrong with many girls looking for good friends, but when you look for your "buddies", should you also consider other people's girlfriends?
Your boyfriend was dating someone else, and you were so miserable that you ended up dragging someone else’s boyfriend in for comfort?
This is the beginning. The thing that shocked me the most was the heroine.
I would like to point out that I have liked Ping Caina very much since "A Little Thing About First Love". I really want to explain the characters in the movie, but I don't really mean anything about the actress herself. The same goes for the male protagonist, after all, he is handsome and handsome.
The heroine Xiaoqin is really a series of sexy operations.
1. Do things regardless of the consequences, just for your own comfort
Ever since her second boyfriend, she has been on the road to catching someone raped. In Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, wherever her boyfriend went to work, he would follow him to catch someone raping him.
The most impressive thing was that time in Hong Kong, when she was waiting for her boyfriend in a hotel, but her boyfriend didn’t come home all night and refused to answer her phone calls. It was later confirmed that her boyfriend had indeed cheated on her. What did she do?
I was having a good time on the double-decker bus, but ended up jumping onto an advertising stand.
An advertising stand like this one.
She just felt sad and cried on top. A crowd of people surrounded her underground. The anxious male protagonist quickly asked the driver to reverse the car and comfort her before taking her down.
Sister, are you an adult? Just disrupting social order on the street. Later at the police station, the male protagonist was slapped on the face by the police, and she was still immersed in her own sadness.
It’s you who did the wrong thing, okay? As a result, your actions make others pay for you.
Broken in love, sad, saying that she didn’t want to be alone, she insisted on dragging the male protagonist to accompany her, provided that she knew that the male protagonist would fly early the next morning. (The male protagonist is a flight attendant) The male protagonist has no choice but to take her with him on the flight.
No matter how good your friend is, do you take it for granted? Don’t you feel like you’re causing trouble to others?
On Krabi Island, I went hiking with the male protagonist, and ended up checking the male protagonist’s mobile phone. Was he messing around with many girls? !
I really don’t know what to say when I see this?
Even the best friends have boundaries, okay?
Later, on the beach, I made up my mind to throw away the watch my boyfriend gave me and break up! !
As a result, I had an affair with the male protagonist at night, and I really thought she saw her feelings clearly. As a result, the male protagonist was invited to take a beer bath together.
When we were about to kiss him, he said: "Why can he cheat, but I can't?"
I, eldest sister, you are a scumbag, okay?
The male protagonist really went berserk at this point - I treat you as my lover, but you treat me as your spare tire? !
I told the male protagonist again, OK, I want to break up and get together with you again! ! Really, trust me!
Then she turned around and accused her boyfriend of cheating. The man admitted it directly and said, "Why didn't you lie to me?" Reconciliation as before!
The male protagonist becomes the spare tire again! I feel like the heroine is like, you all love me anyway, I’m in a good mood and I can decide who I want to choose.
What the screenwriter originally wanted to create was a story in which the male protagonist silently protects the female protagonist, and finally the female protagonist realizes her feelings, and the lovers finally get married. Unfortunately, the plot design is too unsatisfactory, and the heroine is portrayed as a thoughtless figure who cannot distinguish the boundaries between men and women, is emotionally weak, and does things regardless of the consequences.
When I watched this movie yesterday, I kept thinking about "I May Not Love You". Why, with the same theme, "I May Not Love You" allows us to see the deepest feelings and the most profound emotions. The persistent male protagonist, and "More than Friendship" is indeed full of flaws?
I think the reason may be that the heroine is growing up and thinking about herself all the time. She did not inflict her emotional grief on her best friend. The male protagonist does not interfere too much with the female protagonist's feelings. He just acts as a friend to help her see herself and reality clearly. When they were friends, the boundaries between them were never crossed.
