Taiyue area starts from Tongpu Railway in the east, Bai Gui-Jincheng Highway in the west, Bai Gui to the east bank of Fenhe River in Qixian County in the south and the Yellow River in the north. Qinyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is located in the south-central part of Shanxi Province, at the eastern foot of Taiyue Mountain, in the northwest of Changzhi City, adjacent to Qinxian County in the east, Tunliu District, Anze County and Guxian County in the south, Lingshi County and huozhou city in the west, Pingyao County and Jiexiu City in the north, and it is the intersection of southeast Shanxi, south Shanxi and Jinzhong. The whole territory is 45 kilometers wide from east to west and 74 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 2,549 square kilometers.
