Where can I spend the night without renting a house in Beijing?
My experience is: living in Guangqumen. Guangqumen is on the second ring road, not far from the usual scenic spots. It is convenient to take the bus and subway, and you can see Tiananmen Square, Chang 'an Avenue, the Forbidden City and other similar attractions in one day. The Forbidden City is very big, so it's best to spend a whole day sightseeing, and it has no shelter. When you go, you should take your parasol. Guangqumen has cheap accommodation, many small and medium-sized chain hotels, good living conditions and many places to eat around; Guangqumen also has good parks, some of which are free. You can also visit the park in the morning and evening.
