Historical evolution of shuajingsi town

Historically, the area around Shuaijing Temple used to be the pasture of Xiqiang, and the northern part of ancient Shu was here.

During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it was the territory of Tuguhun, and later it entered the Sui Dynasty.

The Tang Dynasty was the seat of Jimizhou, the Duke of Zhou. In the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736), Guangping County was established (later changed to Hejian County, now the town of Brush Jingsi in Hongyuan County, Sichuan Province). Its jurisdiction includes Hongyuan and Heishui counties in Sichuan Province. In the first year of Tianbao (742), it was changed to Gonghua County, and in the first year of Gan Yuan (758), the Duke of Zhou was restored. In 763, the first year of Guangde, he went to Tibet.

Tibetan general Gail Zanzhuo (Tibetan:) conquered his land, effectively controlled the Songmao ancient road and became an important stronghold on the eastern border of Tubo.

After the collapse of the Tubo Empire, Jiaotoe Luo, Dangxiang (Xixia) and Song successively controlled its land, and the nationalities migrated frequently, becoming the northern gateway of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor.

After the Song Dynasty was destroyed in A.D. 1253, the chieftain system was established, and Songzhou and Panzhou were established, including the whole territory of the Brush Temple, which was later transferred to Shaanxi Province.

In the Ming Dynasty, Songzhou was still located in the north-central part of the territory, and Songpan Hall was also included in it, which was called Songpan Grassland. Southern miscellaneous valley appeasement department.

In the Qing Dynasty, the northwest region was placed under Songzhou, and it belonged to Mosuo Tusi and Zhuokeji Tusi among the four lands with Rangkou and Sizhai, and then it was placed under Lifantang.

The town of Shuajing Temple has long been the seat of Mosuo Tusi Guan Temple (Old Kangmao Temple), which is printed with a large number of scriptures, so it is named Shuajing Temple, also known as "Kharja Lang", which means the place where gods are cast in Tibetan.

During the Republic of China, the south and the north were under the jurisdiction of Li Pan County and Songpan County respectively. From June 1935 to August 1936, the Red First Army, the Red Second Army and the Red Fourth Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army passed by Hongyuan on the Long March, passing through Brush Temple. It took one year and two months to climb snow-capped mountains, cross grasslands and cross swamps, and experienced the most difficult years in the Long March. This grassland is deeply imprinted with the footprints of the Red Army and engraved with the most difficult and tragic journey in the revolutionary history of China. Touching stories such as "Golden Hook" and "Seven Matches" have been left on this grassland, as well as revolutionary sites such as the Red Army Martyrs' Tomb, Riganqiao Marsh, Sediba and Niandoba Meadow (among which Yakexia Mountain is located in Brush Temple). The herdsmen in Hongyuan acted as guides of the Red Army, supporting the Red Army with highland barley and yaks, and made a living. During the Yan 'an period and after the national liberation, President Mao Zedong spoke highly of the revolutionary achievements of Tibetan and Qiang people in climbing snow-capped mountains and crossing grasslands in the Long March of the Red Army, and affectionately praised this as a unique "yak revolution" in the revolutionary history of China.

1954 In March, Xizang Autonomous Region, Sichuan Province (now Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture) set up a four-year brush temple to treat Hongyuan. As a result, Shuajing Temple became the first state capital of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, which made great contributions to the establishment and development of Aba Prefecture. 1In August, 958, Aba Prefecture moved to Marcand, and Lixian County moved from the original area to Hongyuan, where the temple was ruled and Hongyuan was formally established, and today's Hongyuan prototype was formed. 1July, 960, Hongyuan County was established with the approval of the State Council. It is worth mentioning that Premier Zhou Enlai personally named Hongyuan County, which means the grassland where the Red Army passed through the Long March.
