The joint rectification began at 9 am. The staff started from the municipal government and headed east along Dongchang Road. Just after they went out, they found a problem in a sales center. Among the four characters of "Sales Center" written vertically at the entrance of the sales center, the lower part of the word "heart" is missing, leaving three points above. The staff said that this is a case of incomplete fonts and is also within the scope of this rectification. Immediately, the staff issued a notice to the person in charge of the sales center to rectify the non-standard words on the street, ordering it to complete the rectification before 65438+February 10.

The second stop to find the problem is Dongchang Road Primary School. The "East" and "Learning" on the school name plate at the school gate are all traditional Chinese characters. According to the staff, according to the relevant regulations, the characters used on the street should be well-shaped, and there should be no residual words or missing words. Simplified words, discarded variant words and old-fashioned words should not be used. Although it is also stipulated that the handwritten inscriptions and signboards can retain or use traditional Chinese characters and variant characters, Dongchang Road Primary School has no signature and should belong to computer-printed fonts.

"Just as primary school names use traditional Chinese characters, the misleading effect on primary school students is obvious." A staff member who participated in the joint rectification said that the use of traditional Chinese characters in the name of Dongchang Road primary school is more harmful than some commercial organizations, because students can see it every day when they go to school and after school. At the remediation site, according to the management power, the relevant departments ordered Dongchang Road Primary School to rectify as soon as possible.

In addition to some small shops, some well-known hotels such as Dongchang Hotel, Changrun Hotel and Zhongyuan Hotel have similar situations. Among them, the characters "Dong" and "Bin" in Dongchang Hotel belong to traditional Chinese characters, not to inscriptions and signboards. During the renovation process, the relevant person in charge of the hotel said that the name of the hotel was actually specially inscribed. At that time, many people were found, including celebrities. Later, everyone agreed that this inscription by an employee of the original Liaocheng Distillery was the most imposing, but because the employee felt that he was not famous, he did not leave his signature.

In this regard, the staff said that if the handwriting belongs to the signboard, it should be signed, so this situation in Dongchang Hotel should also be rectified. When discussing the rectification measures, the staff also helped to come up with a simple and easy way, suggesting that the hotel make a standardized secondary card to hang next to it in accordance with relevant regulations. Liaocheng will accept the evaluation of the second-class urban language and writing work in the near future. Units that use nonstandard words must correct themselves before 65438+February 10. What traditional Chinese characters and variants can be retained?
