Guanyin Bridge belongs to Jiangbei District of Chongqing. Guanyin Bridge is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Located at Guanyinqiao Street and Huaxin Street in Jiangbei District of Chongqing, 700 meters north of Jialing River Bridge at the intersection of Jianxin South Road and Jianxin East Road. Construction started in April 2003 and officially opened in February 2005.

Guanyinqiao business district has a pedestrian street area of 70,000 square meters and a public space landscape area of 300,000 square meters. Evolution of Guanyin Bridge Construction

On September 30, 2002, Jiangbei District Committee and District Government made a historic decision on the urban development of Guanyinqiao: it took three years to build Guanyinqiao business district into a Guanyinqiao business center with reasonable functional zoning, complete infrastructure, perfect walking system, smooth traffic network and beautiful ecological environment.

In April 2003, the construction of Guanyinqiao business circle officially kicked off.

On February 3, 2005, Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street officially opened.

In May 2005, Jiangbei District Business Circle Management Office was established.

In 2006, after the completion of the third phase expansion of Guanyin Bridge, Guanyin Bridge has a ring road with an expansion area of 45,000 square meters and a total landscape area of 200,000 square meters.

At the beginning of 2008, the extension of Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street in Jiangbei District officially opened. This pedestrian street starts from the square in front of Mao Ye Department Store in the west and ends at Ocean Park in the east (now the area where R&F Hyatt Hotel is located), which once again expands the territory of Guanyin Bridge.
