What happened to Okubo Park?

Okubo Park is a theater park located at one end of Okubo Hall in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Originally the residence of foreigners in the Meiji era, it became a gathering place for street warblers, bars and restaurants after the war, but at the same time it also preserved historical sites such as the former foreigner cemetery and Shishenjing Palace. In the park, people can enjoy various performances, such as orchestral music, chamber music, traditional art and so on. In addition, there is a sports square, a basketball court and an indoor five-a-side court in the park for people to exercise for free. Okubo Park is also often used to hold various parties and activities, which is a favorite place for local residents and tourists.
