1974, Wu took the lead in trial-producing Pu 'er tea in Kunming Tea Factory. 1975 Kunming Tea Factory began to produce Pu 'er cooked tea in batches after trial production. At the same time, Wu gradually extended her technology to Menghai Tea Factory and Xiaguan Tea Factory.

1979 was popularized in Yunnan tea factory. Since then, Yunnan Pu 'er cooked tea has entered the market. Because of the technology and safety of Wu's pile-fermentation technology, the products have been welcomed by Hong Kong and Macao markets, and gradually replaced the "tea making" in Guangdong. Therefore, the development of Yunnan Pu 'er tea has entered an epoch-making historical stage-modern Pu 'er tea.

In May, 2008, the brand "Wu" of Golden Bud and Yulujian was selected as a national gift to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, which was the highest honor and peak in Pu 'er tea industry and went down in history (* * * provided three sets of blue-and-white porcelain cooked tea, one set of raw tea and one set of mahogany gift box, because one set was given, one set was filed and the other set was kept as a museum).
