Recently, the director of the Immigration Bureau of Thailand signed and issued a document to cancel the epidemic sign, and adjusted the previous regulations that allowed people stranded in Thailand for various reasons to apply to stay in Thailand during the epidemic. Details are as follows:

1. Extend the previous regulations and allow foreigners to stay in Thailand until March 25th, 2022; The deadline for applying for epidemic signs in this issue is 65438+2022125 October, and the epidemic signs applied before this date can be "live" until 25 March 2023;

2. Improve the review requirements for foreigners' renewal applications to prevent some foreigners from taking the opportunity to stay in Thailand illegally. In particular, the reasons why foreigners apply to stay in Thailand must be strictly verified and must comply with the regulations of the Immigration Bureau to prevent foreigners from sneaking into Thailand to engage in illegal and criminal activities;

3. Foreigners who enter landing visa may not apply to stay in Thailand or change their visa types;

Foreigners who need to stay in Thailand with tourist visas can apply for temporary stay in Thailand according to the relevant regulations of the Immigration Bureau. If they really can't return to China in the short term, they can apply for renewal of residence in Thailand according to the requirements of this document;

5. Foreigners holding non-immigrant visas are not allowed to apply for residence in Thailand. If you need to stay in Thailand, you should follow the relevant regulations of the Immigration Bureau on staying in Thailand.
