Will the Lijiang River in Guilin become the next Erhai Lake in Dali?

Last summer, I visited the Lijiang River for a week and found that this city is more popular than Erhai Lake in Dali, especially the Shili Gallery in Yangshuo, which is crowded with people. It's not easy to book a hotel temporarily. From the perspective of living in Lijiang, Dali, Yunnan for a long time, the tourism boom in Lijiang, Guilin definitely exceeds that in Dali. Because Dali is close to Kunming, and there are expressway and trains, the annual population flow is about 654.38+0.7 million. Guilin and Guangzhou have been connected by high-speed rail, and it only takes two and a half hours to get from the Pearl River Delta to Guilin, which means people living in the Pearl River Delta can easily spend the weekend in Guilin! Then I asked, Guilin's annual traffic is more than twice that of Dali. Obviously, Lijiang River is more mature than Dali, and "Guilin Lijiang River" is the predecessor!

On the tourism resources of these two places, they are indeed comparable. Dali is located in Hengduan Mountain Area, which governs 13 counties and spans Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nujiang River. For thousands of years, rivers have cut mountains into deep gullies, forming beautiful canyons with infinite scenery, and many forms of tourism projects have yet to be developed. Dali is also famous for its hot springs, and Xiakou and niujie hot spring towns are favored by people who like ease. Jizu Mountain, a Buddhist resort, is the intersection of Tibetan Buddhism and Han Buddhism, and it also attracts a large number of practitioners to worship. The spring-like climate in Dali is the most nostalgic. Thinking of Dali is a lazy impression, which Guilin can't compare with.

The Lijiang River in Guilin has a long history, and Guilin's tourism is world-class, even representing the characteristics that China impressed the world. The Castel landform around the Lijiang River is very strange. The ground is a mountain with bamboo shoots, and there are rivers flowing on the surface. There are caves and underground rivers. This is a place where you can play 360 degrees. There are mountains and rivers painted on the back of RMB, which shows that Guilin is a senior beauty and has been firmly ranked first in China tourism.

Two cities with the same tourism resources are imitating each other. For example, walking in Yangshuo old street is similar to walking in Dali ancient city. Small commodities are also from Yiwu. The streets are always crowded with tourists, hotels have developed rapidly, and both places have the same shops ... just like the tourism development model of Lijiang River, it extends to Dali. Erhai Lake in Dali will be as hot as Lijiang River sooner or later, because Lijiang and Shangri-La, not far from the north of Dali, are its twin brothers, and the three places complement each other, driving the overall popularity to rise.
