The design of White Swan Hotel inherits the essence of traditional gardens in China and Lingnan. The atrium focuses on Bishan Waterfall, forming a unique Lingnan style, which has the function of integrating historical flavor and cultural connotation into the whole architectural space.

In the early 1980s, the White Swan Hotel was mainly invested by Henry Fok and designed by a generation of Lingnan architects such as Mo and She Yunan. It is a successful combination of foreign architectural forms and China traditional architectural culture in modern Lingnan architecture.

"White Swan Hotel is a milestone in Lingnan architecture. It is the first hotel in China to adopt the design of indoor atrium.
