Where is Cordyceps authentic?

Cordyceps, Yushu and Guoluo in Qinghai, Naqu, Changdu and Litang in Ganzi, Tibet are more authentic.

Cordyceps sinensis is mainly distributed in Tibet, Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu and Yunnan with an altitude of 3,500 m to 5,500 m (the altitude has increased in recent years), and the cordyceps sinensis producing areas with an altitude of more than 4,500m are "high quality" producing areas. When I say high quality, I mean the place where Cordyceps is produced on a larger scale. Well-known high-quality producing areas include Yushu in Qinghai, Golog in Tibet, Naqu, Qamdo in Ganzi, Litang and so on.

Growth conditions of Cordyceps sinensis

Cordyceps sinensis is only suitable for high altitude and cold growth environment, mainly produced in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its marginal areas in China, and generally grows in the climate of 3000 ~ 5000 meters above sea level, cold and humid soil, thick soil layer and forest meadows and lawns with certain organic matter; Due to the soil quality, the color of Cordyceps sinensis growing on forest meadow is mainly dark brown or brown, while the color of Cordyceps sinensis growing on lawn is mainly yellow brown.
