Geographical location of forest road

Lindao, the name of Lindao, comes from Lindeng Depression, that is, "the riverside depression where bodhi trees grow". The city emblem of Lindao is a lush green bodhi tree.

Lindao Old Town is located on an island with an area of only 0.68 square kilometers on the right bank of Boden Lake. The island is connected to the land by a train dam built by 1853 and another bridge. Summer tourism is the pillar industry of this city.

Lindao Port was completed in 1856 and is known as "the most beautiful port on the whole Boden Lake" [1]. The 6-meter-high lion sculpture echoes the 33-meter-high lighthouse, overlooking Boden Lake and guarding the entrance of Lindao Port. The lion is the symbol of Bavaria, and this lighthouse is the only lighthouse in Bavaria. On sunny days, you can see the Alps in the far south of Lindao Port, while thousands of lights illuminate the charming port at night. The "Alpine Road" starts from the forest road, from west to east, crosses the Bavarian mountains, crosses the borders of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and reaches Zugpitz, the highest peak in Germany, and King's Lake in Berchtesgaden.

There are no other famous scenic spots in Lindao except Lindao Port, but the small and exquisite slate street in the old city gives people a quiet mood.
