"At that time, I saw that the environment was good and the price was favorable, but when I arrived at Shuixi Street, I couldn't find an apartment, and I couldn't even see a brand." Ms. Chen reflected that after calling the apartment, she said that she would send a female staff member to pick her up and let her wait at the intersection. Later, a staff member helped her pull the luggage into a gate and a dark alley. After a long walk, she saw an old building. The stairs are particularly steep, and the railings smell of rust and stink. The second floor is a long and dirty corridor, and there is not even a light. The more she walked, the more she felt that something was wrong. She couldn't ask for a refund, and the other party couldn't help it. Ms. Chen believes that the actual situation of the apartment is completely inconsistent with online publicity, so she complained to the online travel website originally booked and asked for a refund, but it was still rejected by the other party.
Mr. Peng recently reported to the online complaint platform of Consumer Network that he booked two rooms in Phuket Hotel, Thailand on June 265438+1October 2/KLOC-0, totaling 2557.45 yuan. On September 2 1, when he went to Thailand to check in, he found that he had booked the wrong time and booked September as 10. Mr. Peng immediately called the international phone to communicate with the reservation website, hoping to check in or cancel the reservation on the same day, but it took more than four hours for the reservation website to reply to him, saying that the hotel did not agree to check out. But Mr. Peng was in the hotel at that time, and the hotel staff repeatedly said that as long as the supplier called, it could be changed. In desperation, Mr. Peng had to book a room again. After returning to China, he asked the website to cancel the hotel and pay the check-out fee on June 65438+1October 2 1, but the reservation website refused to go through the cancellation procedure on the grounds that the hotel he had booked would not be returned or changed.
According to the statistics of online complaint platform of Consumer Network, the platform recently received 75 complaints from consumers about online travel. Complaints mainly involve five aspects: false propaganda, bundling, overlord clause, unreasonable refund fee, arbitrary change or cancellation of orders. Among them, 19 involved false propaganda, accounting for 25.33%; Bundled sales started from 16, accounting for 21.33%; Overlord clause 15, accounting for 20.00%; There are 13 unreasonable refund fees, accounting for17.33%; 7 orders were changed or cancelled at will, accounting for 9.33%; There were 5 other complaints, accounting for 6.67%.
Beijing Consumers Association said that when choosing tourism products, consumers should not only keep documents such as contracts and invoices, but also take screen shots, audio recordings and photos to keep important contents. If their rights and interests are damaged in the process of traveling, consumers should remain calm and negotiate with the operators in time. If it is difficult to solve the problem through consultation, you can report or complain to the relevant administrative departments of public security, tourism, industry and commerce according to different situations, and use legal weapons to safeguard your legitimate rights and interests.
