Rinan Island is located in Xinghua Bay in the southeast of Putian City, Fujian Province, China. It is the main island of Hinan Islands, the third largest island in Fujian Province and the largest island in Putian City. Rinan Island has a unique geographical position and is a window to expand trade with Taiwan and foreign countries. It has always been a military stronghold, and its Rinan waterway is a major maritime transportation hub.
