Where does Qixianling Hot Spring Tourist Area belong?

Qixianling Hot Spring Tourist Area is a famous leisure resort in Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County.

Qixianling Hot Spring Tourist Area is located in the northeast of Baoting Lizhou Miao Autonomous County and 10 km northeast of Baocheng Town, the county seat. It is a famous tourist scenic spot in Hainan Province.

The seven peaks of Qixianling stand upright like human fingers, pointing to the sky, hence the name. The front peak is tall, with an altitude of1107m, and the rear six peaks are short and interdependent. When the morning mist rises, I can see the Seven Fingers Ridge from afar, just like Seven Sisters standing upright in gauze, dignified and graceful; Near noon, the clouds dissipated. At this time, Qizhiling sword refers to the sky, which is magnificent and belongs to one of the famous mountains in Hainan Island.

The famous Qixianling Hot Spring is at the foot of the south of Qizhi Mountain. Here is a depression, with seven steep peaks as the screen, green hills on the back, rubber Lin Ruhai, coconut grove, betel nut pavilion, red cotton silk, and fragrant wildflowers; Hot springs rise like clouds, just like the heavenly palace and the jade pool. The whole hot spring area is about one square kilometer wide and has 25 hot spring eyes. The water temperature is mostly around 70 degrees Celsius, and some are as high as 100 degrees. On the north side of the hot spring area, there is a huge natural hot spring pool with an area of about 3 mu, waist-deep water, moderate water temperature and pleasant bathing. The water in this spring pool comes from the confluence of two hot springs and a cold spring. There are two strange old trees in Chi Pan. One is like a hippo swimming in the water, and the other is like a crane standing with its head held high. It's strange that the pool surface is steaming like a gauze curtain. On the other side of the hot spring area, two springs, one hot and the other cold, flow and join together in the middle reaches of the zhina River, keeping the temperature of this stream around 30 degrees Celsius all the year round, which is suitable for people to bathe and swim. According to the local people, bathing here often can dispel dampness and dispel wind, relieve pain and itching, treat skin diseases, relax muscles and activate collaterals.

According to legend, a long time ago, a couple of Li lived here. They are very diligent and get up early every day. Slash-and-burn, land reclamation, raising poultry and livestock, life is very good, but the disadvantage is that nearly half a century ago, there were no men and women under my knees. One night, my wife dreamed that two shining lights were left at her side, and she was warm after waking up, and she didn't know whether it was good or bad. But soon, the wife was pregnant and the couple were very happy. I was pregnant in October and gave birth once. I just gave birth to my wife and gave birth to two sons. The old couple are extremely happy. They named their two sons Koichi and Koji, which means double happiness. The two sons grew up quickly, and when they were teenagers, they were as strong as iron towers and had great strength. They are good at farming, hunting and fishing, and their archery is unparalleled. The old couple happily kept their mouths shut all day.

The Li family lived a happy life, but there was one thing that made the two old people frown. Every time there is a strong wind in Fengmenling, northwest of their home, there will be a strong wind blowing to their home, and the roof of the hut will often be torn off, which needs frequent maintenance. One day, the old couple and Xing Yi and Xing Er discussed the treatment of typhoon. They decided to build a ridge higher than Fengmenling at the tuyere to block the strong wind, so Xingyi and Xingyi were built in half. Just do it, build the east and the west, and work overtime day and night. Xing Yi blew his whistle and waved his whip to drive all the stones in the river, sea and ravine to the east of the tuyere. Xinger drinks animals and pushes mud, and builds a ridge to the west of the tuyere. Soon two thick mountains were built, which blocked the strong wind blowing from Fengmenling. Dozens of Li people in Fiona Fang are no longer troubled by strong winds.

One day, the old man asked his two sons who made the windbreak ridge strong. Xing Yi and Xing Er each said that they had made it strong, so we can't agree. The old man told them to shoot each other's mountains with steel arrows. Xingyi shoots the ridge in the west first. He took an arrow, drew a bow, aimed at the waist of the ridge, and slammed an arrow. Only with a bang, the middle of the soil ridge broke, the upper part flew dozens of miles, and the remaining lower part became an anvil. Xinger shot six arrows at Dongling in succession. I thought Dongling would collapse, but each arrow only passed through one crack in Dongling, and six cracks appeared in six arrows, making Dongling, which was originally steep as a wall, present seven stone peaks. The old man smiled and said, this is still made of stone. Xiling is like a chopping block and as hard as iron, hence the name Anvil Ridge. Dongling has seven peaks, which are like the palm of your hand, hence the name Qixianling.
