Huaiyuan County belongs to Bengbu City, Anhui Province. Located in the north of Anhui Province, in the middle reaches of Huaihe River, at the southern end of Huaibei Plain, it connects Guzhen, Bengbu and Fengyang in the east, Huainan in the south, Fengtai and Mengcheng in the west and Suixi and Suzhou in the north.
