Have you ever encountered a young lady during your travels?

A few years ago, I took a train from Hefei to Taiyuan. I bought a station ticket and got a seat in the dining car.

It was full of people, except for a girl wearing a mask sitting at the innermost table.

There was an uncle in front who wanted to sit down next to the girl, but the chef stopped him and said that someone was already there. The uncle kept saying there was no one there.

The chef waved to me and said, come here young man, your seat is here. Then I sat next to the girl under the uncle's gaze.

It wasn’t until the meal that the girl took off her mask, so beautiful!

The chef asked her, why does such a beautiful little sister wear a mask? The girl said that my father asked me to wear it because he was afraid of meeting bad people.

For some reason, I felt a little guilty when I heard this?

The chef smiled and said, then let the brother next to you protect you on the road, okay?

The girl looked at me secretly and nodded. My face actually felt a little hot...

After eating, the girl put on her headphones and listened to music. I leaned back on the chair and closed my eyes to relax. She asked in a low voice, "Do you want to listen to music?"

I didn’t hear it clearly, but I understood it when I saw an earphone in her hand, so I nodded.

A nice foreign song sounded in my ears:

If you miss the train I'm on,

You will know that I am gone,

You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles.

A hundred miles, a hundred miles,

A hundred miles, A hundred miles

You can hear the whistle blow A

After listening for a while, her phone ran out of battery. I took out my notebook and asked her to watch the downloaded movie. She chose the French movie "Little Children". She didn't finish watching that movie before she arrived at the station.

So I got off the train with her, took a taxi to take her to school, watched her slowly walk away, turned around and waved to me...until she disappeared into the crowd.

When I boarded the train again, I realized that I had forgotten to ask for her contact information...

If you missed the train I took

That means I have sadly left alone

Listen to the whistle that stretches for hundreds of miles

A hundred miles and a hundred miles carry me away

One One hundred miles after another, there is no going back
