Brief introduction of Yang Gongdi

Yang Gongdi is one of the "Three Embankments of the West Lake" with the same fame as Bai Causeway and Su Causeway. Excavated by Yang, hence the name. Located in the west of West Lake in Yang Gongdi, there are six bridges on the embankment, named Huanbi, Liujin, Wolong, Yin Xiu, Jingxing and Yuan Jun from north to south.

Brief introduction of Yang Gongdi

Yang Gongdi, which is roughly parallel to Su Causeway, is the only carriageway among the three dikes of West Lake. This long dike is connected with the mountains of the West Lake, which was built by Yang, the magistrate of Hangzhou in the Ming Dynasty. Later, because of the siltation of the West Lake, land gradually formed. In recent years, in order to restore the old appearance of the West Lake, the waters have been dredged again and Yang Gongdi has been restored.

The greening in Yang Gongdi is very good. Along the way, there are Gai Jiaotian's former residence, Guo Zhuang, Hangjiayuan, Maojiabu and other scenic spots, but the distribution is scattered. Because the Liuli Bridge on the levee fluctuates greatly, it is called "Chongqiao" by Hangzhou riders, and timid riders always scream when going downhill.
