It will take a day. You can choose several scenic spots for a one-day tour on the western line, such as Ganling and Maoling, Famen Temple. It takes half a day or a day. For a one-day tour of Huashan, you can join a group or go by yourself. Everything is fine. If you go by yourself, you can get there from the railway station by taking the 1 tourist line terminal. It will take a day. As for the two-day tour of the northern line, to be honest, not many people went. Moreover, these scenic spots are far away, and it will take some time by car. You might as well think about it. A day trip in the city is also a good place. I'll recommend several places to you: Datang Furong Garden and Shaanxi History Museum. They are close to the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, next to Xiaozhai, and you can take bus No.600 or K600 from the railway station without reversing. It takes at least one and a half days for the scenic spots in the city. Of course, including shopping, it may take two and a half days. Xi 'an's more prosperous places are Dongjie Street and Xijie Street, and Xiaozhai, next to Xi Jiaotong University. You can go there selectively. The five-day schedule is basically full.

Speaking of houses, I suggest you live near the railway station, where hotels are generally not too noisy, and the most important thing is convenient by car.
