What is the "new great project"?

"New Great Project": refers to Party building. Construction of the party's advanced nature under the new situation.

The report of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward: "The second generation of leading collective with Deng Xiaoping at the core creatively applied Marxism–Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought to contemporary China, centering on what kind of party to build and how to build it under the conditions of reform, opening up and modernization, and initiated a new great project of party building." Facing the new century, China's productive forces should become a Marxist political party armed with Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, serve the people wholeheartedly, be completely consolidated ideologically, politically and organizationally, be able to withstand various risks, always be in the forefront of the times, and lead the people throughout the country to build socialism with China characteristics. This is a new great project.
