Lan incident.

20 13 On June 20th, news from the coroner's office of Los Angeles County Police Department confirmed that Lan, a Canadian student from China who died in cecil hotel, Los Angeles four months ago, died unexpectedly. The coroner said that after more than four months of autopsy, examination, comparison and analysis, the coroner's office came to the conclusion that Lan Keer "did not commit suicide", which was an accidental death, and the cause of death was drowning and suffocation in the roof water tank of cecil hotel.

My opinion

No one will commit suicide by running into the water tank, and no one will be unfamiliar with the hotel building structure.

The possibility of accidental death is indeed high, but homicide cannot be ruled out.
