The Pearl Hotel

"Three bowls are not enough."

Song Wu was going to visit his brother Wu Dalang. When he came to yanggu county, it was already noon. Song Wu is hungry and thirsty. He saw a hotel ahead. The flag of the hotel reads five characters: "Three bowls don't turn the mountain". Because the wine in this shop is very strong, you will get drunk after drinking three bowls, and the mountain in front can't pass, so it's called three bowls. Song Wu drank fifteen bowls at a time, but he didn't listen to advice. He went up the mountain with the tiger.

When Song Wu was resting on the big bluestone, there was a loud noise behind the forest and a big white tiger jumped out. The tiger pounced on it, lifted it, and then cut it like an iron bar with its tail, but it was cleverly avoided by Song Wu. Song Wu waved the whistle stick with both hands, but it hit the tree next to him and the whistle stick broke. Song Wu pressed the tiger hard, raised his hammer fist, and killed the tiger and the people with all his strength.

Task information

Song Wu is an important figure in Shi Naian's classic Water Margin. It also appears in Jin Ping Mei, because it ranks second in the family and is also called "WuErlang". In order to avoid being arrested by the government, he dressed up as a monk and was called "Monkey Song Wu" by Jianghu people.

Song Wu once killed a white-fronted tiger with his bare hands in Jingyanggang. Therefore, the story of "Song Wu killed the tiger" was widely circulated in later generations. He once gathered with Lu, Yang Zhi and others in Erlongshan, Qingzhou, and entered Liangshan when the three mountains gathered, and was one of the top 100 generals, taking 14th place.

As one of the top ten leaders, he was recruited by the imperial court to conquer Liao, Wang Qing and Fang La with Song Jiang. He was eventually injured by a flying knife in the process of conquering Fang La, lost his left arm, and was named the founder of Zhong Qing. Finally, he died in Liuhe Hall in Hangzhou, and lived to be 80 years old.
