Check out the mistakes in your plan first:

An extra day is added to the Linzhi direction. Based on the scenic spots you plan to visit, there is one free day.

One day is missing in the direction of Shigatse. If you go to Mount Everest and Namtso, you will not be able to complete the journey in 4 days. We should arrive in Lhasa on the afternoon of the 29th.

18th: One-day trip to Lhasa

19th: Lhasa→Basongcuo→August 1st

1. Arrive in Lhasa on the 17th and check into a hotel, just wander around.

Reason: No matter you enter Tibet by train or plane, you will arrive in Lhasa in the afternoon or evening. It will definitely feel uncomfortable when you first arrive, so you can just check into the hotel and walk around nearby. Go too far. Go to the drugstore to buy some plateau safety supplements, which are generally not available in the mainland. Skip or eat less dinner. If you feel hungry at night, just have some snacks.

2. Regarding Bu Palace tickets, if you charter a car, you can ask the driver for help and let his family members or friends arrange the ticket purchase vouchers in advance. Or book with a local travel agency. Otherwise, I might as well not enter the Potala Palace at all. Tickets are hard to buy in peak season. On the 18th, we headed straight to Linzhi and put the one-day trip to Lhasa last, because there were more places to visit on this day.

Reason: The altitude in the direction of Linzhi is low, and swimming from a low-altitude area can help you gradually adapt to the plateau. After passing through high-altitude areas such as Mount Everest and Namtso, and finally taking a one-day trip to Lhasa, your body has completely adapted to the plateau environment and you can play as you please.

4. It is recommended to abandon Basongcuo to save time.

Reason: Most people who have been there will regret it. The ticket is 120 yuan and there are many people. Tibet tourism has entered the peak season in June, and there are too many people at conventional attractions. It is better to focus on unconventional attractions and free natural attractions.

5. It is recommended to abandon Ranwu and stop in the direction of Linzhi to Bomi.

Reason: Going to Ranwu is nothing more than admiring Ranwu Lake. When approaching Bomi, there are two lakes that are not much inferior to Ranwu Lake. They are called Guxiang Lake and Dongxiang Lake. It is enough to appreciate the lake scenery. Yes, there is no need to walk so far to Ranwu, Bomi-Ranwu is 127 kilometers one way. If you give it up, you can save half a day. The disadvantage is that you have to give up the Midui Glacier.

6. Add the trip to the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon Scenic Area.

Reason: Although the ticket is more expensive at 240 yuan (including the environmentally friendly fare of 90 yuan, which can be omitted if you are hiking), it is worth a visit. Daduka Observation Deck, where love is stronger than stone, big mulberry trees, small bends in the Yajiang River and other landscapes are worth admiring. You can have 3-5 hours of sightseeing here, and have an extra chance to see Namjagbarwa.

7. Including the itinerary in Shannan area.

Reason: Shannan area is known as the birthplace of Tibetan culture. From Bayi Town, transfer to the Shannan area, avoiding the 400 kilometers of repeated routes, and it is worthwhile to enjoy the scenery of Shannan.
