Which district of Hong Kong does Causeway Bay belong to?

Causeway Bay spans the "Eastern District" and "Wan Chai District" in Hong Kong 18 District; Its east is "East District" and the rest belongs to "Wan Chai District".

East to Qingfeng Street Overpass, west to Yunhe Road Overpass. Among them, the Hong Kong Cross Harbour Tunnel, Victoria Park, MTR Tin Hau Station, Jardine Matheson, Queen's College and Hong Kong Central Library are located in the east of Causeway Bay, at the end of Causeway Bay.

Development in recent years

At present, the rent in Causeway Bay is one of the highest in the world, and the participating brands are global, not limited to internationally renowned brands such as LV and GUCCI. There is even an American clothing store, forever2 1, which has rented the Jinghua Center held by overseas Chinese in Fujian, Philippines at a very high monthly rent of 1 1 10,000 in recent years.

In recent years, the east of Causeway Bay is quieter than the west, so there are a series of community facilities. It takes only five minutes to walk to and from Causeway Bay West. Many hotels are built by developers and named after Causeway Bay, such as Seaview Hotel, Grand Hyatt Hotel and Metropark Hotel in Causeway Bay.

This area is one of the earliest developed areas in Hong Kong. Because of its superior geographical location, it was overexploited as early as 20 years ago, and the demolition restrictions were very high and the cost was too high. The only high-rise residential buildings built in these 20 years are Seaview Pavilion, and the rest are hotels and office buildings. At the eastern end of Causeway Bay, many office buildings have been built in the past ten years, such as AIA Plaza.

As most government agencies in Causeway Bay are located in the Eastern District, the Causeway Bay Liaison Section of the District Office, which deals with people's livelihood, is managed by the Eastern District, including building management and activities of the Causeway Bay Neighborhood Welfare Association. The addresses of legally binding statutory documents in the government may appear as "Eastern District", "Wan Chai District" or "Causeway Bay", but the words "Fort Hill" and "Tin Hau" will not appear.
