The Office of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control in novel coronavirus, Changchun issued a notice on the comprehensive resumption of work by all kinds of production and business units. Since 0: 00 on May 28, 2022, all kinds of production and business entities in the city have fully resumed business, including hotels.

Changchun, formerly known as Xi Du and Chachong, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city and the core city of Harbin-Changzhou urban agglomeration under the jurisdiction of Jilin Province, and is one of the central cities and important industrial bases in Northeast China approved by the State Council. By 2020, Changchun will have 7 districts, 1 county and 3 county-level cities, with a total area of 24,744 square kilometers.
