How do cherry blossoms grow seedlings?

Cherry blossoms are perennial herbs of Verbena of Verbenaceae, which are often cultivated as annual plants in production. Alias beauty cherry, grass five-color plum, sweet potato, four seasons hydrangea, floor verbena, Sue and so on. Suitable for arranging flower beds, flower borders, or planting on forest edges and lawns. Can also be potted, cut flowers.

(1) Seed preparation. The 1000-grain weight of ebony seeds is about 2.2 grams. Its seeds are actually capsules, short rod-shaped, light gray-brown or light brown. When collecting seeds, cut off the whole withered yellow inflorescence, dry it and thresh it. Seeds can be used for 1 ~ 2 years. The seed germination rate of plum blossom is low, which is one of the lowest among all kinds of flowers. More seeds should be prepared.

(2) Days of sowing and seedling raising. When raising seedlings in early spring, 5 ~ 6 pairs of leaves, large lateral branches and large buds are produced between each leaf axil, and the seedlings are planted about 15 days before the final frost, and the emergence days need about 90 days. Due to the improvement of temperature and light conditions, the number of seedling days can be reduced by 5 ~ 20 days.

The seedling raising technology of the same genus Prunus microphylla is similar to that of Prunus microphylla. For example, if planted before and after the final frost, it takes about 75 days to produce 10 ~ 1 1 seedlings with leaves, with lateral branches between each leaf axil and larger lateral branches below.

(3) Seeding and seedling raising. Cherry blossoms are not afraid of frost, so they should be planted before the final frost, so that the greening effect can be seen early. However, the temperature of early seedling raising is low, and sowing should be carried out in an electric hotbed. Sow with ordinary nutrient soil. Sow 20 ~ 30 grams per square meter of seedbed, and the sowing amount should not be too small. In order to improve the germination rate, seeds can be soaked for 8 ~ 12 hours, and then treated at 5℃ 10 day before sowing. The seeds are covered with 0.5-0.8 cm of fine soil. The ground temperature is controlled at about 20℃, and the seeds emerge after 7 days of dry sowing. Transplant seedlings when there are 1 pairs of true leaves. If early planting requires a large number of seedlings to grow, the number of seedling days is bound to be longer, and seedlings can be moved twice to reduce the cost of seedling raising. 1 time Use a plug with a hole of 128. When the seedlings grow crowded, move them from the plug to a container with a diameter of 7-8 cm to cultivate the seedlings, or furrow them to become seedlings. The daytime temperature is controlled at 20 ~ 30℃, and at night, 10 ~ 15℃, with moderate humidity control. Plum seedlings have many branches. When the 1 bud of the main branch is large or in bud, there are more big branches. 5 ~ 7 days before planting, the temperature should be reduced to 0 ~ 2℃, ventilation should be increased, and water should be properly controlled to refine seedlings. Generally, budding or flowering seedlings can be planted about 15 days before the final frost, and can be planted when the daily average temperature is stable above 5℃ in the northern cold region. Plants and buds will not be frozen at -2 ~-3℃ for a short time.

(4) Cutting propagation. The stem nodes of plum blossom are easy to produce adventitious roots, and cutting propagation is very easy. Most varieties of plum blossoms are variegated, but the color of each plant is solid. Cuttings can get pure-colored seedlings, and of course, you can also choose seedlings that have already blossomed to plant seedlings with the same color. Cutting should be carried out 50 ~ 60 days before planting in spring. Select stout branches, cut them into 8 ~ 10 cm, remove the lower leaves, cut them on the sand bed and insert them into the sand for about 5 cm. Shade, control the ground temperature at about 20℃, and generally take root at 10 ~ 15. After rooting, move to the seedbed in time to become seedlings.
