Tourist attractions in Shule county

Since 2008, Shule County has planned and constructed seven key tourism projects, including Zhang Qian Park, Zhang Qian Memorial Hall, Shule History Museum, Science and Technology Cultural Center, Nordland Style Garden, Ginkgo Ecological Park Scenic Area and Populus euphratica Forest in Yafuquan Desert. By the end of 20 13, all seven major tourism projects had been completed and put into use.

Zhang Qian Park, rebuilt on the original oxidation pond, is divided into three functional scenic spots: historical and cultural area, folk customs area and children's entertainment area. There are Zhang Qian Memorial Hall, Shule History Museum, Science and Technology Cultural Center, Wang Bobangchen Hotel, etc. in the park, with facilities such as double eaves pavilion, beer house, teahouse, sketch sculpture, etc., fruit trees and landscape trees in southern Xinjiang are planted, with a green area of 400,000 square meters. It was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction by the Quality Evaluation Committee of the Autonomous Region Tourist Attractions.

The Shule History Museum shows the war, commerce, economy and other items left by Shule as an important town of the Silk Road for more than 2,000 years. Nordland Style Garden covers an area of 90 mu and has facilities such as grape gallery, orchard, banquet hall, coffee (tea) bar, children's amusement park, swimming pool, national dance hall and so on. Baiguo Ecological Park has 4.5 kilometers of high-standard grape corridor, more than 500 acres of more than 70 varieties of fruit trees and 500 acres of green pollution-free vegetables. Populus euphratica forest in Yafuquan has the conditions of military development training, horseback riding, camping, horse racing, sheep riding, sand skiing, desert cross-country and so on.
