How is the economy of Qingdao, Dalian, Yantai and Weihai?

What is the concept of a good city, or at what level. I am originally from Qingdao, grew up in Yantai in the later years, and went to university in Dalian. I can try to talk about it.

Economic. Undoubtedly, the current economic conditions of Qingyanwei are all OK. Qingdao has a larger population than Yanwei, so the total is higher, but the per capita GDP is not much different among the three places (per capita GDP is still the highest in Qingdao). In addition, Yantai's industrial output value and tax revenue have always ranked first in Shandong.

City size and infrastructure. Undoubtedly, Qingdao and Dalian are the best, followed by Yantai. Weihai is far behind Yantai, not to mention Qingdao and Dalian. Qingdao and Dalian are much stronger than Yanwei in terms of city size and degree of development of commercial services and financial industries. Among the two, Dalian started earlier, but Qingdao developed faster. Looking at it now, the two are comparable, or Qingdao is better. As a city with an urban population of 2 million, Yantai cannot currently compare with the two sub-provincial cities of Qingdao and Dalian. However, among domestic prefecture-level cities, it is no problem to rank among the top four or five. Life is convenient and facilities are complete. There are some in the second tier, and almost all are OK in Yantai. It is worth mentioning that Yantai has the headquarters of a national joint-stock commercial bank and two national joint-stock insurance companies, which is better than many sub-provincial cities (such as Qingdao). Weihai was separated from Yantai back then, so it is still there until now. In the shadow of Yantai, most companies or institutions have set up branches in Yantai and are also responsible for Weihai. You often see "Jiaodong General Agent" and "Yanwei Office" on the streets of Yantai.

When it comes to city appearance, Qingdao and Dalian are both great. Dalian has more high-rise buildings and the city’s public transportation management is relatively better. Although Yantai has the tallest building in Shandong, the city is far from being the same. Compared with Qingdao and Dalian, the management is similar to Qingdao, and it is slightly dirtier than Qingdao and not as good as Dalian Weihai. The city of Weihai is neat, clean and beautiful, but it loses in size.

Development potential. The dual core of Shandong is Jinan and Qingdao. The party congress held the day before yesterday or yesterday emphasized this point. Therefore, Qingdao is obviously the first in development potential. Yantai, as the troika of Shandong's economy, is the first industrial city in Shandong and the region. Although the fund management center will not be the same as Qingdao in the future, it still has broad potential. Dalian is the city with the least Northeastern temperament in the Northeast (most Dalian people come from the Yanwei area of ??Jiaodong, and speak the same Jiaodong dialect as the Yanwei area, and can be said to be a brother city of Yantai). However, economically it is inevitably affected by the Northeast economy. As a result, there are no signs of recovery in Northeast China's economy in the short term, which puts Dalian's future potential into question. Weihai's economy will not encounter the problems of Dalian, but due to the size of the city and being in the shadow of Yantai, perhaps the environment is Weihai's signature.

Climate environment. Weihai ranks first, this is indisputable. Airline, coastline greening, etc. Yantai is similar to Weihai in terms of air quality (monthly weekly report from the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Department). Yanwei’s air quality is much better than Qingdao, and Yantai is the second in China’s environmental competitiveness and the second in China’s summer resort. +The number one coastal summer resort city and the 12th ranked summer resort city in the world. This is because Yantai Weihai is a rare place in China that is close to the sea in the north. It is dry and not humid in summer, and the sea is blue. This is much better than Qingdao in the south, which is close to the sea. Although the summer temperature in Qingdao is similar to that of Yanwei (and often even lower than that of Yanwei), because the south is close to the sea, the sauna days are severe and a bit sultry.

Seaside shoreline. Smoke power is the best. The Yantai-Weihai line is China's only national-level seaside scenic spot. The beach and coastline conditions are much better than those in Qingdao. The sandpaper on the beach in Qingdao's urban area is rough and there are too many human traces. Frankly speaking, Jiaodong people do not recognize Qingdao's seaside coast. Wire.

Catering seafood. These four places are all located in the northern seas, so the quality of the seafood cannot be said. If you have eaten cold-water seafood, you will know how unpalatable the southern seafood is. When it comes to catering, the four places are actually similar. Yantai ranks first, and Yantai is one of the four places in China. One of the birthplaces of Shandong cuisine, the top of the major cuisines (the other is Licheng, Jinan), has the only county-level cooking association in China. Yantai sea sausage is one of the best, followed by Weihai. The new Shandong cuisine that came out of Weihai The purity and elegance of the cuisine are also representative of Weihai. Qingdao and Dalian are also influenced by the cuisine of Yanshan and Fushan, and they are similar.
