What kind of country is Laos? What preparations do you need to make to travel?

Travel takes you around the world. Because many countries in Southeast Asia are close to China and have many beautiful scenery, they have become the tourist destinations of many China people.

Among them, Laos is the country that leaves the deepest impression on tourists.

Perhaps, you used to be biased against Laos: insecurity, poverty and backwardness. This stereotype is definitely not true in Laos.

This time, Youpin will lead you to explore the real Laos, this magical country!

Luang Prabang

Starting from Kunming, it is very convenient to fly directly to Luang Prabang, the most famous tourist city in Laos, where the landing visa system is implemented for China citizens.

The buildings on the street are a blend of French and East Asian architectural styles, which are very distinctive. You can also see many monks and Buddha statues in the streets.

Every night, although China night market is not decorated with a new atmosphere, vendors pushing dining cars can be seen everywhere on the street, pushing the taste of the night to the climax.

Hotel Tatlises

The place where you live in Luang Prabang is also unique.

There is a coffee shop downstairs. It's nice to sit here drinking coffee and watching people come and go outside.

Upstairs is the real hotel, about 1500 yuan for one night, which is the most expensive for this trip to Laos.

Here, I recommend Satri House and Avani+, two local hotels.

The former is full of French flavor, and there is a super beautiful sleeping lotus pond in the center of the hotel; The latter is a simple and modern hotel with a quiet environment and superior geographical location.

Guangsi Waterfall

I spent the first two days in the urban area of Luang Prabang. On the third day, Youpin took the local Tu Tu bus, and it took about half an hour to reach Guangxi Forest Park, which is 3 kilometers away from Luang Prabang.

Dense jungle and blue pool water can be seen everywhere here, which has the feeling of virgin forest, and the mountains are full of Jiuzhaigou flavor.

The difference is that here, we can walk into the water and swim in the waterfall is also a very unique experience.

However, there are really many mosquitoes here. If you go, you must prepare for mosquito prevention in advance.

Wapu temple

On the fourth day, Youpin got on the bus and arrived in champasak, a small town in Pakse, southwest Laos, three hours later.

In fact, Pakse also has its own airport. You can also choose to take a small plane, which is faster than the bus.

Compared with Luang Prabang, there is not so much commercial atmosphere here, and it maintains a relatively primitive style.

There are various Buddhist buildings, the most famous of which is Wapu Temple at the foot of Gaopu Mountain. Its history is even longer than the famous Angkor Wat.

Here, every photo taken is a blockbuster.

In the afternoon, we came to the other side of the river. There were many drivers from Tu Tu at the foot of the mountain, so we rode up the mountain to see the whole picture of the Giant Buddha and Pakse.

Go back to Bashe city in the evening, liberate yourself in the bar street and drink the fatigue accumulated by running all day.

There are also many homestays near Bar Street. One night in 400 yuan, the RMB is around, which is not only cheap, but also the environment is particularly good.

Every phenomenon on earth

On the last day, Youpin flew from Pakse to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, by small plane.

I believe many friends know that France has the Arc de Triomphe, but in fact there is also the Arc de Triomphe in Southeast Asia, which is in Vientiane.

Its appearance is full of local unique Buddhist color, with geometric symmetry, architectural design and solemn feeling.

Besides, Vientiane is also a city of food and shopping. If the hectic schedule of the past few days doesn't satisfy you, then you can put everything behind you.

Youpin has eaten several restaurants. In the end, I think Pimenton Restaurant and Cafe ango can be recommended to everyone, which are absolutely suitable for China people's tastes.

What about this real Laos? Did it surprise your friends?

If you are tired of seeing the island scenery in Southeast Asia, it is also a good choice to come to Laos!
