Stay

I chose Wanda Resort, which has different grades and different prices. Because I am a Holiday Inn member, my husband and I chose the Holiday Inn.

The resort also has Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites (the kind with several rooms in the kitchen), Ibis Hotel (these two hotels are far away from shopping and dining) and the Westin Hyatt Hotel (these two hotels are far away from shopping and dining) The hotel is also very convenient).

Sensitive

Maybe this is a good season and there will be more restaurants in the shopping town. However, we were really cheated. Two dishes and one soup cost 330 RMB. For restaurants with high scores seen on Dianping, remember not to trust anyone who asks you to go in and look at photos of the front door. The most cost-effective restaurants in the entire resort are Mai's, K's, and Pizza Hut. Of course, the restaurant in the hotel is your best choice, and the price is about the same. And the quality is pretty good.

Changbai Mountain Go

It is very close to the resort. Take bus No. 80 to and from Chixi Visitor Center in Changbai Mountain, take bus 1 to the west slope, and then change to bus 1. You can climb 1442 steps to see the Tianchi Lake on the west slope. Although I didn’t feel high, I was really tired. Climb, stop, and walk, it takes about 40 minutes. Seeing Tianchi, you will feel that all your hard work is worth it. The mountain on the west slope is lower and closer to Tianchi. And it's closer to North Korea, with North Korea on the right. Take photos and look at the sky. Time flies. The last bus can go to the forest at 14:30. Remember, pay attention to the time. It starts to get dark around 16:00 in the Northeast in winter.

North Slope of Changbai Mountain

The resort charges 300 yuan for a round trip to the north slope and can go directly to Xinshan Gate. In addition, the main peak on the north slope is another ticket. You can first take the bus to the main peak at the gate, and then go to a place where you can change your SUV. You should note that the main peak is not open all the time, it depends on the weather. If it’s not open, you can go to other attractions first. If it is open-plan, you can take an SUV for 20 minutes to the top of the mountain to enjoy the scenery. Time passes quickly, unlike the calm weather on the west slope. The wind on the north slope is very strong. If there are lines A and B, you can't go up in winter, so it's a pity that you can't stand at the highest point to see Tianchi this time. If you come in summer, you can see all the A and B lines.

North Slope - Julongtan Waterfall

There is another attraction on the North Slope that you must visit, which is Julongtan. This is a hot spring with hot spring eggs, hot spring glutinous rice, and hot spring duck eggs. The restaurant definitely doesn’t recommend buying egg glutinous rice when you’re hungry. Eggs are 10 yuan, three kinds of glutinous rice are available, and black glutinous rice is 10 yuan. After shopping and eating, you can go to the waterfall after taking a rest.

Sanjiang Hub

It is recommended to take a day of rest between the northern slope and the western slope. I inquired about attractions near the resort. There is a place called Niyin Ancient City. I took a 120-minute chartered bus ride and went for a walk. Then I happened to see the Songhua River, the intersection of three rivers, Jinjiang River and Manjiang River (Yalu River). It was a little lucky trip.

Return

Because the direct flight back was cancelled, I chose to fly to Jinan and then take the high-speed rail back to Tianjin. I have to lament the convenience of transportation. After flying to Jinan Yaoqiang Airport, I took the airport bus line 3 and went directly to Jinan West Station in more than an hour.

Cost

It’s not a budget trip, just spend money if you want, it’s not very cost-effective.

The ticket price is 1170 yuan for two people.

The ticket price for the scenic spot is RMB 105 (you can visit the west slope for three days, and then you can go to the north slope within three days without the ticket). The ticket price for the west slope ferry is RMB 24 (round trip to the mountain gate), RMB 85 (scenic area bus), and the long-distance bus from the north slope. 855 (insurance) main peak ticket price is 80 yuan in Liyin Ancient City, and Dianping group purchase is 50 yuan per person.

Main entrance

The hotel includes breakfast. If you want to have more breakfast in the scenic area, you can skip going down the mountain.

No matter what season it is, it is colder on the mountain than at the foot of the mountain in winter. Because you must bring the thickest clothes, it is still very dazzling to see if you need sunglasses when renting clothes at the top of the mountain or the reflection from Tianchi.
