Are there any good routes to Hangzhou on May Day? They are a couple!

Welcome to Hangzhou.

On the first day, the train went from Jiaxing to Hangzhou. I bought the train from Meilong starting point in Shanghai. It arrived in Hangzhou around 9:45. If you have a lot of luggage, you can stay there first. If you don’t have a lot of luggage, remember to buy a map first. (5 yuan), and then take K7 directly to travel the northern route.

Just go to three places: Baidi (free), Yuewang Temple (25 yuan), Lingyin Temple (65 yuan).

Get off at Broken Bridge and walk around Baidi. Along the way, you can see two of the ten scenic spots in the West Lake: Broken Bridge with remaining snow and Pinghu with autumn moon, Xiling Seal Society and Gushan (Gushan goes to "West Lake" You can go back to "Tian Xia Jing") and go shopping (these places are free). It is not recommended to go to the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, it takes time to look at the antiques. If you don't have lunch, it will take about an hour and a half to walk around.

You can enjoy lunch at Louwailou. Louwailou is a bit expensive, but it is the best hotel to eat in Hangzhou after all. Just order the famous Hangzhou dishes: West Lake vinegar fish made with muddy fish or beggar fish. Chicken, a water shield soup, two cups of Dongpo pork, and a hot or cold vegetable dish can be done within 100 yuan; if you want to save time, just eat some dry food. Be sure to have a full lunch.

Out of Baidi is the Yuewang Temple, the temple, tomb and memorial hall of the national hero Yue Fei. The tour takes about 30-40 minutes.

After coming out of Yuewang Temple, take a bus to Lingyin Temple. The trip to Lingyin Temple takes about one and a half days.

It is recommended to leave Lingyin around 4:30, because the road will be very congested, and I think it is most interesting for couples to visit the lakeside in the evening. Lingyin takes K7 to the Children's Palace or Y1 to Sixth Park. After getting off the bus, go to check out the cruise terminal (where you will board the boat tomorrow), and then start visiting the Lakeside Park (free), which is touring all the way along the West Lake.

After passing the San Park Cruise Terminal and the Musical Fountain, you can pay attention to the intersection where you turn left. There is a road called Renhe Road. A little way past, there is a store called "Zhiweiguan", which is the most famous restaurant in Hangzhou. Snack bar, where you can get Hangzhou snacks. The cost for two people is about 30 yuan. The famous ones are Xiaolongbao and cat ears. I don’t recommend eating a la carte on the second floor. They are quite expensive. A bottle of West Lake on the second floor Green Rain usually sells it for 10 yuan in other places, but it costs 12 yuan there.

After eating, we returned to Lakeside Park and continued walking along the West Lake. The scenery of the new West Lake is not inferior to Lakeside Park at all. Then walk to Hefang Street and arrive at Wushan Square 10 minutes later. Visit Wushan Square and Qinghefang (free). Qinghefang is an antique street with many shops. By the way, you can also complete the work of buying souvenirs. Of course, be careful and buy famous products that can only be found in Hangzhou. There are There is Wang Xingji's fan, Zhang Xiaoquan's scissors, and Hu Qingyutang Guoyao. They are all famous stores in Hangzhou. You can spend boldly. Some other stores have a mixed bag. If you see what you like, buy some small food gadgets for 10 yuan or 20 yuan. , it is best not to buy anything over 20 to avoid being deceived.

There is a north-facing alley between Zhongshan Middle Road and Zhonghe Middle Road in Qinghefang. In the middle of the alley, there are many snacks from various places. You can buy some to eat.

It should be around seven or eight o'clock after visiting Qinghefang. There are many choices at this time. Go to a bar near Wushan Square or Nanshan Road, or go to the supermarket to buy some Hangzhou White Chrysanthemum, West Lake Lotus Root Noodles, Tianzhu Chopsticks, and Paradise Umbrellas. For cheap and high-quality Hangzhou specialties, go to Jiebai New Century at the intersection of Jiefang Road and Yan'an Road or Yintai to the north of Yan'an Road. For shopping, go to the section between Jiefang Road and Qingchun Road on Yan'an Road or Wulin. On the section between Qingchun Road and Fengqi Road, which is a special women's clothing street, of course another option is to sleep in a hotel.

The first day’s itinerary is roughly like this. Another option is to take Y2 directly from the train station to Lingyin. The advantage is that you don’t have to go back and the Y2 road is relatively fast. The time saved can be used to go to Ququ. You can visit Yuanfenghe (free) and Yuquan (10 yuan), and you can see the scenery of Yanggongdi New West Lake along the way. The disadvantage is that it is impossible to have lunch outside the building, and you will have to walk all the way after coming out of the botanical garden, so your physical strength needs to be tested.

The next day’s destination is to visit the lake and the southern route

Check out. If you have a lot of luggage, leave it at the front desk. If you have a small amount of luggage, go straight on the road. If you are still in good physical condition, get up early in the morning and go climb Baoshi Mountain (free). You can overlook the West Lake. Climbing Baoshi Mountain will not be very tiring. After descending the mountain, go to the Children's Palace Pier.

If you get enough sleep, get up around 8, go directly to the Children's Palace Pier, and take a cruise to visit Huxin Pavilion and Three Pools Reflecting the Moon (tickets and boat tickets are NT$45).

Then take a cruise to get off the boat at Huagang Fish Viewing Pier and visit Huagang Fish Viewing (free), especially to see the rain there.

After coming out of Huagang, take a bus to Jiuxi (there are many buses), transfer to 324 to Yunqi, and visit Yunqi Bamboo Garden (8 yuan). There is only one word to describe "secluded". There are very few, and the scenery is very good, which is very suitable for couples to walk in the bamboo forest.

After Yunqi comes out, return to Jiuxi. After getting off the bus, walk for about 20 minutes to the gate (don’t take the yellow croaker bus at the door). First have a farm-style lunch, and then start visiting Jiuxi Eighteen Stream (2 yuan), it’s still too cold to play in the water now, but it’s best to bring a towel and a change of socks.

After coming out of Jiuxi, take a bus to Liuhe Pagoda (30 yuan). The journey to Liuhe Pagoda takes at least an hour. You can see the Qiantang River and Qiantang River Bridge when you climb the tower.

After the Six Harmonies Pagoda, go to Hupao (15 yuan) and Jingci Temple (Nanping Evening Bell, 10 yuan). If you are pressed for time, Jingci will not go.

After finishing, we will go back for dinner. You can go to Kuiyuan Restaurant, the best noodle restaurant in Hangzhou, at the entrance of Guan Lane, Jiefang Road to eat noodles (recommended shrimp fried eel noodles, about 30 yuan a bowl), or you can find Eat at a restaurant with Hangzhou cuisine.

After dinner, take the train back to Jiaxing at Chengzhan Railway Station. There are many trains from Hangzhou to Jiaxing, so buy them when you get to the station to avoid having to squeeze in time to enjoy the trip, but you have to be mentally prepared to stand for an hour and go back.

A few other reminders:

The above itinerary requires you to visit 7 of the ten scenic spots in the West Lake. In addition, you can overlook the Lei Feng Sunset (Lakeside) and Shuangfeng Chaoyun (Lakeside) that you have not visited. Lingyin), part of it passes through Su Di Chunxiao (Huagang Section), so all the ten scenic spots of West Lake are already here, and four of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake will be visited (Yunqi Bamboo Path, Gemstone Liuxia, Hupao Mengquan, Jiuxi Smoke tree), passing by and passing by three (Wu Shan Tian Feng, Ruan Gong Huan Bi, Man Long Gui Yu).

There are some unlicensed tour guides and unlicensed cars in Hangzhou. Don’t deal with them just to save money and convenience; especially at the entrance of Lingyin Temple, don’t deal with those kind-hearted people. Come to visit, see more scenery and buy less things. When shopping, I recommend you go to famous stores, shopping malls and supermarkets. Except for tickets in scenic spots, the less money you spend, the better.

If you are not satisfied with my route arrangement, you must not go to fake antiques such as Chenghuang Pavilion and Leifeng Tower, and theme parks such as Songcheng and Hangzhou Paradise. There are theme parks everywhere, you must see and play Just go and see the scenery that you can’t see anywhere else.

If you are not interested in some of the places I recommend, you still have a few more personalized choices, battery sightseeing cars (40 yuan for the whole journey, stop at a wave), Y9 lake sightseeing cars (5 yuan), rent two bicycles to explore the West Lake by yourself (300 yuan deposit, 10 yuan/hour, 50 yuan/day, bike return points are everywhere near the West Lake), go to Meijiawu to drink tea and eat local dishes, etc.

I don’t recommend you to go mountain climbing. Mountain climbing is mainly a way for citizens to relax and exercise. It takes time and energy for tourists, and the scenery is also very average. You can climb the gem the next morning Mountain or climb Chenghuang Mountain on the first night. If you like mountain climbing, we recommend three short routes: One is Yuhuang Mountain (10 yuan). After descending from the mountain, go directly to Hupao Road, and then take a bus to Yunqi Jiuxi. The second is to go to Baoshi Mountain from Geling, go west to Xixialing to Yuewang Temple, and go north to Huanglong Cave (15 yuan). The third is to go up the mountain from Laodongyue or Laohe Mountain and finally go down the mountain via the North Peak to Lingyin Temple (this road is relatively longer than the first two roads).

For accommodation, we recommend you to go to Hangzhou International Youth Hostel on Nanshan Road and Jiangnanyi International Youth Hostel in Manjuelong, or chain economy hotels such as Super 8, Jinjiang, Home Inn, and Xinyu. They are not too good or bad. The key difference is that the room is very tense now and speed is required.

I’ll give you a few phone numbers that may be useful: 96123 (tourist hotline), 12345 (mayor’s public phone number); and 114. Today’s 114 is a know-it-all and can solve any problem.

Finally, I wish you and your girlfriend have a great time in Hangzhou.
