Monument, Poem of Seventy-two Springs by Yan Bi in Ming Dynasty and Record of Seventy-two Springs by Hao Zhigong in Qing Dynasty are all recorded as the crown of Seventy-two Springs in Jinan. Baotu Spring is the source of ancient water. As early as the eighteenth year of the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a record that "the guild was in full swing". In ancient times, there were hot springs and waterfalls.

Names such as "Spring" and "Threshold Spring", as well as the appellation of "Tutu", were first recorded by Ceng Gong, a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, in Two Chapters of qi zhou. Its landscape is wonderful and magnificent, with three springs spewing out from the crypt, snow waves flying and thunder rumbling.

Shu Yuquan Shu Yuquan is located in front of Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall in Baotu Spring Scenic Area. North of Jin Dynasty, Poems of Seventy-two Springs by Yan Bi in Ming Dynasty and Records of Seventy-two Springs by Hao Zhigong in Qing Dynasty are all recorded. The name of the spring is taken from the book Wash the Stone Pillow Flow in Shi Shuo Xin Yu Pai Diao. The spring pool is 4.8m long, 3. 1 m wide and 2m deep. Water gushed out from the bottom and wall of the pond, forming a series of bubbles, which floated to the surface and cracked. Water overflowed from the south wall and injected into the stone pond. According to legend, Li Qingzhao, a poetess in the Song Dynasty, wrote poems here when she was a teenager, and her collection was called Shuyu Ci.

Ma Paoquan Lu Quan is located in the east of Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall in Baotu Spring Scenic Area. North of Jin Dynasty, Poems of Seventy-two Springs by Yan Bi in Ming Dynasty and Records of Seventy-two Springs by Hao Zhigong in Qing Dynasty are all recorded. It got its name from the legend that Guan Sheng, an anti-gold hero at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, dug up the ground to fight for horses. The spring pool is 12 meters long and 5 meters wide, with natural stone banks and rockeries in the east. Yan Bi's poem "Horse Running Spring" praises: "Horseshoe treads the flying spring and goes out of the shallow water of Qicheng. Eight horses have heard of Eight Extremes, and they have seen the sea become a field in a hundred years. " In April 2004, Ma Paoquan was awarded as one of 72 new springs by Jinan Quanming Research Association.
