Yunnan is a border of more than 4,000 kilometers, bordering Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, and naturally becomes the best choice for border tourism. There are currently 25 border counties (cities) in Yunnan, among which Ruili, Tengchong, Hekou, Luoda and Nansan are famous. Today we are going to Hekou Port.
Yunnan Hekou Port is the largest port on the Yunnan section of the Sino-Vietnamese border, just across the river from Laojie City and Guliu City in Vietnam. Located at the southern end of Hekou Yao Autonomous County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, it is the terminal of Kunming section of Yunnan-Vietnam Railway and a national first-class port.
Since the reform and opening up, Hekou Port has vigorously developed port economy and trade, established a good economic cooperation relationship with Lao Cai Province of Vietnam, and promoted a huge port trade volume. In addition, Hekou Port has also become a famous tourist attraction in Yunnan Province. Every day, foreign tourists come to Wan Li for sightseeing and experience exotic customs and multi-ethnic cultures.
There is a through train at Hekou North Station, and you can get off at the dock customs or the port garden to reach Hekou Port. Nearby are the China-Vietnam Railway Bridge, Hekou Station, Exotic Street and Hekou Uprising Memorial Hall. Let's take a look at Hekou Port first.
When you walk to the Hekou Port, you can see the magnificent "National Gate" with the words "China Hekou" written on it, which is very dazzling against the national emblem.
Many tourists took photos in front of the boundary pillar "China 102" on the Sino-Vietnamese border. Standing on the bank of Yuanjiang (Red River), you can see the scenery of Vietnam not far away. At this moment, there is only a bridge between here and Vietnam, and anyone who thinks he can swim can go there.
We face Vietnam across the river at the estuary along the Red River, and the nearest areas are Laojie and Guliu in Vietnam. Although it is separated by a river, the buildings in the opposite city are clearly visible. You can also see people coming in and out of the opposite building, and you can also see vendors pushing cars, pedestrians and cars passing by.
However, compared with China, Vietnamese architecture is much less and shorter, and the gap between the two sides is very obvious. The overall architecture of Viet Nam is more like the villages and towns in the more developed areas of China, with several buildings scattered at random. High-rise buildings in the estuary of China are bustling.
Some friends may think that tall buildings don't mean anything, and the gap between countries is not the height and number of houses. In fact, Xiao Jing thinks that high-rise buildings can not fully explain the gap between countries, but they can most intuitively reflect the prosperity and economic development of the country.
Moreover, although the number of tourists in our country is much less than before the epidemic, there are still many tourists taking pictures and many shops have opened. On the other hand, there are almost no tourists in Vietnam, even the busiest rickshaw at Hekou Port. I think this is also the embodiment of the ability of a big country!
Finally, Xiao Jing gave you a favorite sentence: "Many trips, only when you are there, can you feel the local customs of a city and experience the rich and diverse national characteristics of the local area." This trip to the mouth of Yunnan gave me a more real understanding and feeling of "China Heart" and multi-ethnic customs.
