Prose: the birthday of Detian Waterfall

Coincidentally, I booked a one-day trip to Detian International Waterfall in daxin county at Nanning Guangxi International Travel Service, which happened to be my birthday. I chose 10 June 16 "bon voyage". I didn't expect today to be my birthday! This day coincided with the international half marathon held in Nanning. My wife can't go to the Great Falls because of motion sickness, so she wants to see the marathon and tell us how she feels. At first light, the police are already on duty on both sides of the main lines such as Minzu Avenue, which is about 15 meters. The welcome signs along the way are particularly eye-catching, and the onlookers have already chosen the best observation position and waited there. Our father and son got up early and rushed to the entrance of Yinhe Hotel, Chaoyang Road, diagonally opposite the railway station, feeling the atmosphere of the game in advance and welcoming the bus to the Great Falls.

It went well. All the passengers on the one-day tour were punctual and left at 7: 30. The bus is very old and the driver drives steadily and quickly. There are 25 tour guides and drivers in the car, and there is still a vacancy. The tourists on the bus come from all over the world. In the seat in front of us, there is a couple who are foreign tourists, the man is a foreigner and the woman is from China, which is very impressive. On the right is a Cantonese couple who can't stop talking and can't understand a word of Cantonese. Sitting in the back are four young men and women born after 1980s, who are full of vigor and innocence. The tour guide introduced himself as Huang. Less than five minutes after getting on the bus, she began to introduce the day's itinerary in Mandarin. Firstly, the general situation and characteristics of Nanning are introduced, and then the matters needing attention are explained. Where to shop and where to eat. When I arrived at the Great Falls Scenic Area, it was characterized by a transnational waterfall that straddled Vietnam, so I specifically talked about some customs in Vietnam. For example, a Vietnamese woman can look at the numbers on the back for 10 thousand yuan, but you will be shocked when you turn around. Don't be fooled; Vietnamese like to be cuckolded. A man has six wives, and each wife has a title. I only remember that the title of the sixth wife was "mineral water", which made the tourists on the bus laugh.

It's beautiful, the weather is fine, it's not hot, and it's cooler on cloudy days. Less than 30 minutes after leaving Nanning, I entered the expressway, and the speed was very fast. I opened the window and the breeze blew in, which made me feel very comfortable. Not long after, I suddenly saw the endless banana forest on both sides. Banana trees were arranged one by one, with an average height of more than 3 meters. Each tree was hung with heavy mature bananas and covered with black condoms! In every village or market town, banana farmers carry a large number of turquoise bananas with tractors and transport them to designated places in containers. Large trucks are on the side of the road, and bananas are packed in cartons customized by banana farmers. Ah, it's banana ripening season in Guangxi! I have eaten bananas since I was a child, and I have seen bananas in supermarkets, but I have never seen banana trees and this banana forest with my own eyes, and I don't know what banana trees look like. This is the first time to watch it up close. I am so excited, as curious and naive as a naive and romantic child. I almost flew out of the car and jumped into the lush banana forest!

In addition to bananas, I also saw a large area of sugarcane forest for the first time, and some southern crops whose names I don't know are also large areas. Sugarcane and banana are the specialties of Guangxi and the main source of income for local farmers. In addition, I also saw large tracts of yellow rice and corn, which can be harvested in 10 days. This is the second season of rice and corn in Guangxi, and the first and only season of rice in our hometown has just been harvested. Guangxi has a subtropical monsoon climate, and many crops such as rice are in two seasons, so the farmers here are very hard. It is rare to see steep peaks in Nanning, but don't worry. Less than 50 kilometers out of the city, you can feel our station wagon walking in the ravine. The mountains here are grotesque, a bit like the stone peak in Guilin, but there are no big trees on the peak, only weeds and green. The whole mountain is limestone with little soil. The farmhouses along the roadside are all made of red bricks, mostly in Vietnamese style, with narrow facades and long paddocks. Both sides of the front and rear windows are closed, which looks rectangular, and the houses are not big, and the floors are generally below three floors, which is relatively simple.

For more than four hours, we had lunch in a restaurant not far from the Great Falls. We have three tables and are assigned to the second table to have dinner with some young people born in 1980s. Soon we arrived at our destination-Dejin International Waterfall! At this time, the tour guide announced that there were only two hours, and we could not fall behind. We quickly got off the bus and waited for the guide to take us into the scenic spot. Just entered the gate and didn't walk a few steps. Wow! Far away, I saw the long-awaited Great Waterfall, the destination of our trip! There are full of tourists, scrambling to take pictures in batches and grab the best position. Traveling to take photos is a must, passionate and romantic. If you don't leave a shadow, you will regret it. I couldn't wait, so I quickly asked my son to take a picture and asked the tourists to take a group photo for us.

The great waterfall is very spectacular. It is not an exaggeration to describe it as "flying down thousands of feet for three days, and it is suspected that the Milky Way will set for nine days". It's beautiful! It is the largest waterfall in Asia and the second largest waterfall in Europe! The widest and most beautiful one on the right belongs to China, and the narrower one on the left belongs to Viet Nam. Interestingly, the water in this waterfall has no national boundaries. First it flows to Vietnam, then it flows to China. They are transnational and don't need to apply for a visa. The tour guide showed us that each of us can spend 20 yuan on a bamboo raft and watch the waterfall at close range. Everyone thought it was worth it, so we jumped up. Sailors on bamboo rafts are really cuckolded. We believe this is a Vietnamese, short and dark, selling Vietnamese cigarette cases and specialties on both sides of our bamboo raft. At this moment, we are interested in shopping, and all our energy is looking at the waterfall in front of us! Sailors put bamboo rafts in a big circle under the waterfall, and we rushed to take pictures. Water drops and water mist from waterfalls wet our clothes, float across our cheeks and enjoy the pleasure brought by nature.

After getting off the bamboo raft, we walked up the waterfall, took photos while walking, and went straight to boundary pillar 53 on the Sino-Vietnamese border. At most 1.5 km, we arrived at this boundary pillar. Our father and son stroked the boundary pillar and thought, one more step and we will go abroad! Going abroad is so easy, why don't we take this step? We stepped into Vietnamese territory without hindrance! In fact, on the boundary of this boundary pillar, border residents can communicate with each other, and tourists can also shop at the border, but only near the boundary pillar. There are many vendors here, in rows. Before I walked into the booth set up by the Vietnamese, I chatted with a little girl. I took a fancy to Vietnamese wooden chopsticks. To my surprise, she said to me in fluent and gentle Mandarin, "Do you want to buy it?" Very cheap. What's your price? Can be less, you buy some! "A childish shy smile appeared on his face. I asked her, "How old are you? Are you a Vietnamese child? " She said, "I 10 years old, Vietnamese! "Really, a little girl from Vietnam, but she is very experienced in business. Great! A lot of things were sold at the booth. In order to catch up with the time, we bought two rosewood cervical massagers and several boxes of Vietnamese chopsticks, and left Vietnam for China in a hurry. It's so interesting. In an instant, my left foot was in China and my right foot was in Viet Nam. Unfortunately, you can't stay long, or you will go abroad every day!

Because this trip is a bit special, I sent a short message to my wife who is less than100km away from Nanning on my way back. She got the message and prepared a sumptuous dinner for us to go back. In the evening, we returned to Nanning. I thought today was my birthday. There must be wine to drink. When I picked up chopsticks, there was no wine on the table. Mothers and sons are very interesting. "I just won't let you drink! No wine today is very memorable, don't you think? " How interesting! I said, "Yes! I am very happy today. My father and son not only saw the waterfall, but also saw the banana forest, sugarcane forest and corn forest, and tasted Kuding tea. The most interesting thing is that they have just returned from Vietnam! "
