Sunshine coast) ~ Vancouver's back garden
Take a ferry from Vancouver horseshoe bend to Sunshine Coast. If the weather is fine, you must sit on the top deck. The scenery on both sides is very suitable for taking pictures. It's forty minutes' journey, and the car can leave.
Sunshine Coast stretches for 65,438+080 kilometers (65,438+065,438+00 miles) along the land, and has the best canoeing, fishing, diving, cycling and hiking places in the world. All the natural wonders of Sunshine Coast are located beside Sunshine Coast Highway 10 1. There are many small towns along the coast. Car-free passengers can go to many small coastal towns by bus at a cost of 2.75 Canadian dollars per person. Of course, going to road trip is the most ideal place.
In mid-June, we came to the Sunshine Coast in Vancouver, played for four days and let ourselves go.
Our temporary home
? In June, the sunshine coast is blue and blue, dotted with small islands, and chic huts are embedded in it. The scenery is fresh, quiet and warm, full of pleasant beauty. Like most Canadians, after being busy for half a year, we chose to go to the seaside in summer to sunbathe our feet and let our mood go.
Sunshine Coast includes several small towns, including Gibson, Roberts Creek, Davis Bay, Seto, Half Moon Bay, Port Pender, Seychelles Bay and Egmont. PowellRiver, Lund, Savary Island and Texada Island communities. Along the coastline, there are quiet beaches, cedar forests, hiking trails, summer homes and artists' gathering places.
Gibson (Gibson)
Comparatively speaking, Gibson is a big city. It has a beautiful seaside and many dining places. The town was famous for hosting the TV program Beachcombers in the 1970s. Now, this sunny coast BC town also holds many music and art activities every year. There is also a good hiking trip on Mount Soames to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are staff filming at night, and the seaside is clear, so photos are not allowed. So, we enjoyed a delicious Mexican dinner in front of the beautiful scenery of Gibson seaside.
Specially recommended is the micro brewery just a few steps away from Gibson Art Museum. Terrace on the second floor, invincible sea view. Beer is very light and refreshing. Snacks are also great.
Robert Scrick
Roberts Bay Pier extends all the way to the Pacific Ocean. The scenery here is impressive. A large number of seagulls, ducks and herons live in natural habitats. Excellent photo opportunity.
Gumboots restaurant in Roberts Creek is a very popular place. You'd better arrive early, because it's usually booked. The food is delicious, mainly local organic ingredients, carefully prepared and presented. They also cater to vegans and gluten-free diets. They have a quiet and beautiful environment, a lovely outdoor dining terrace and an excellent atmosphere. We enjoyed a hearty lunch there. My eyes and stomach are greatly satisfied.
The town is really small, with only four shops: a restaurant, a grocery store, a coffee shop and an ice cream shop. The most popular is the ice cream shop.
Seto
Serto has various bars, cafes, restaurants and spas. It even has famous haunted houses such as cinemas and golden arches, and there are many beautiful houses and docks by the sea. Sechelt Inlet Hotel offers water sports such as kayaking and rowing.
End.
