-Eggs at the end-

This is a reading note about Captain Grant's daughter. The first part is geographical knowledge, and the second part is an introduction.

The structural mind map of this paper is as follows:

Part I: Geography-related knowledge.

Navigation route:

Looking for Grant's sailing route: from Scotland (Britain) across the Atlantic to South America, along the 37th parallel across South America, across Australia and New Zealand.

I south America (Chile, pampas, Argentine plateau):

Animals:

7. Red Wolf-a unique red wolf in pampas grassland.

The red wolf called "Aguala" by Indians is actually a hyena. It looks like a big dog, but its head looks like a fox. It is a carnivorous animal. The red wolf's hair is reddish brown, and there is a black hair on his back. Red Wolf is quick and agile. They are used to living in swamps. They can also hunt in the water and often attack cattle, sheep and horses. They usually go out during the day and at night and act in groups, which is extremely harmful. In fact, people would rather face a leopard in front of them than fight a group of red wolves. Because these animals gang up in groups, if you fight in front, you will be neglected in the back, and you will often suffer a big loss.

Part II: Brief introduction.

The story of the novel takes place on1July 26th, 864. Sir grina Van and his party were sailing on the sea with the cruise ship Duncan. They found a broken document eroded by sea water in the belly of a shark. After analysis, this is a distress document issued by Captain Grant after the sinking of the Great Britain in 1862, when he was looking for a new settlement for the British. Because the British government refused to send a crew to search for it, Sir Duncan decided to sail to search for Captain Grant and his wife Helen, cousin Major Mike Nabes, Captain John, Captain Grant's daughter Mary and son Andrew, and the crew. Jacques, secretary of the Geographical Society of Paris, took the wrong boat because of carelessness and became a new member of the ship.

Duncan passed the Atlantic Ocean, Madaga Islands, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, strait of magellan, Brunswick Peninsula, Cape Pollard and Nano Port in Talka, and found no trace of Great Britain. Jacques reminded everyone that this document may have fallen from a river on the American continent. So, Sir, Major, Jacques, Andrew robl and three sailors began an expedition across the American continent. In this expedition, they experienced volcanic eruption, earthquake, thirst, rainstorm, flood, thunder fire, being attacked by wolves and surrounded by crocodiles.

Later, Jacques suggested that Great Britain should be in Australia. According to this idea, Duncan set out from the Atlantic Ocean and reached Cape Bainu. At the home of a manor owner in Cape Bainuoyi, they met British boatswain Elton, who claimed that Captain Grant should be in the Australian mainland. So, the group split up again. Sir, major, geographer, captain, Mrs. Helen, Mary and two sailors crossed the Australian mainland, while the Duncan met in Melbourne.

Later, Sir and others discovered that Elton was actually a bandit leader. He lied. Captain Grant is not in the Australian mainland, and Elton plans to rob the Duncan as a pirate. In his letter to Sir Duncan, the geographer Jacques wrote "Australia" as "New Zealand", and Elton, who took the letter to rob Duncan, became a prisoner. After getting rid of the threat of bandits, Sir and others decided to take a cargo ship to Melbourne and then return to Europe. The cargo ship ran aground in the wind, so everyone made a raft and drifted to New Zealand Island, where it fell into the hands of savage Maori and almost died. Jazz and others escaped and reunited with Duncan.

Because Captain Grant was not found, everyone returned to Europe in disappointment. On the way, I exiled Elton to an uninhabited island-Maria Terca, only to accidentally find Captain Grant on the island. Finally, I understand that the French name of this island is "Dabao Island", and this word in the distress document has been corroded by seawater.

In the end, all the staff returned to Scotland smoothly, and John Munger and Mary Grant got married in the old St Munger's Church. Major Mike Nabbes's cousin, Miss Abela, fell in love with Jacques Baganel, and they got married. When Captain Grant returned to his motherland, all Scots celebrated him. His son Rob later became a sailor like him, and with the support of Sir Grievan, he worked hard to realize the plan of establishing a Scottish settlement in the Pacific Ocean.

The above introduction is a brief introduction to Baidu Encyclopedia in the book. Fortunately, I also saw that other people in the book also quoted the contents of the encyclopedia. Please, I didn't copy it alone.
