Introduction

Zhaotong Qingguanting Park is located in the northwest corner of Zhaotong City. It is the closest urban garden to Zhaotong citizens, but the scenery throughout the year has its own characteristics. The most famous one in the garden is the Qingguan Pavilion. This pavilion was built in the middle of the pond. It was originally called Sanduotang Pavilion. It was built by Wang Yu, the county magistrate, in the 14th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1809). The pavilion is a two-story waterside pavilion with an outer cloister. There is a stone bridge connecting it, with a construction area of ??305 square meters. It is said that Wang Yu was an upright official, so it was named Qingguan Pavilion. The current Qingguan Pavilion was rebuilt in the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932). Rao Qikao, a native of Zhaotong, wrote a couplet and hung it in front of the pavilion: "There is not much water, and one official has been left innocent; this place is spotless, who can change it?" Come on soft red." In 1982, the Zhaotong Municipal Government allocated funds to build Qingguanting Park, with two hectares of new land. The park was expanded, a curved pond was excavated, pavilions and waterside pavilions were built, and various flowers and trees such as peonies, peonies, Burmese laurels, and roses were planted. Artificial rockeries, a joyful garden, an animal corner, a mandarin duck pavilion, a children's playground, a bonsai room, etc. were added to the park. Although the garden is not large, it has the charm of Suzhou gardens. The pavilions and pavilions are hidden among the green trees. The newly built bonsai garden and mirror garden are the garden within the garden. A two-story tower and the new pavilion on the water set off and complement each other. Two rockeries rise above the garden. By the pool, green peaches bloom in spring in March, red clouds bloom, and willow silk lingers; in summer, roses exude a refreshing fragrance, pomegranate flowers reveal burning red flames, the fragrance of flowers on the shore is astonishing, and fish swim in the water, which makes people feel good.
