What do you mean, drink to the east wind and take it easy?

"Drink to the east wind, and * * * take it easy." Raise your glass and pray to Dongfeng, please stay a little longer and don't leave in a hurry.

-Origin-

Song Dynasty Ouyang Xiu's "Langtaosha Drinks to the East Wind"

-

Drinks to the East Wind with ease. Chuiyang Zimo Luocheng East. Always hand in hand at that time, traveling all over the fragrant bush.

it's endless hate to gather and disperse in a hurry. This year's flowers are better than last year's. It's a pity that the flowers will be better next year. Who do you know?

-Translation-

Raise your glass and pray to Dongfeng. Please stay a little longer and don't leave in a hurry. The path on the east outskirts of Luoyang is covered with willow branches. Most of them are places where we traveled hand in hand last year. We traveled all over the colorful flowers.

Suffering from the short meeting and parting in life, the regret of parting has been stirring in my heart for a long time. This year's bonus is better than last year's, and next year's flowers will definitely be better, but I don't know who I will visit with then.

-Note-

Put the wine: hold the glass.

calm: nostalgia, reluctance.

Zimo: Zilu. Luoyang was once the capital of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is said that it was paved with purple soil at that time, hence the name. This refers to the road in Luoyang.

L.A.: Luoyang.

always: mostly, all of them.

in a hurry: describes that time is in a hurry.

two sentences of "pity": Du Fu's poem "Nine Days Lantian Cui Shi Villa" says: "Who will know who is healthy next year? I'm drunk and look at cornus carefully."

-Creation background-

This word was written for a trip with friends in the old place in the east of Luoyang in spring. According to the meaning of the word, in the spring before writing this word, my friend also traveled with the author in the east of Luocheng. Ouyang Xiu stayed behind the curtain in Xijing for three years, during which he was only in Luoyang in the spring of 132 (the first year of Ming Dow), and this word was immediately written this year. The fellow traveler in the word is Mei Yaochen.

-Appreciation-

The lyrics first write: "Drink to the east wind, and * * * calmly". These two sentences originated from "I wish the wine to the east wind at dusk, and I am calm" in Si Kongtu's Jiuquanzi. However, Ouyang Xiu added a word "* * *" to his ci, which gave him a new meaning. In other words, "* * * calmly" is related to "drinking to the east wind", which means the wind is related to people. First of all, for the east wind (spring breeze), it is to cherish the east wind, which implies that we should keep the beautiful scenery so as to enjoy it. Secondly, for people, I hope people can enjoy it slowly, feel this rare gathering and cherish the good times. The poet then wrote: "Chuiyang Zimo Luocheng East." "East of Luocheng" points out the place to visit. "Zimo" refers to the roads on the outskirts of Beijing. Here, the scene described by the poet is so warm. The poet walks on the outskirts of Beijing, the warm wind is blowing, the willows are flying, and the pleasant weather is pleasant. At the end of the film, I wrote: "I always worked hand in hand at that time and traveled all over the fragrant bush."

in these two sentences, we should pay special attention to the meaning of "at that time". In other words, it not only implies the poet's memory of the past, but also takes care of the "last year" mentioned in the next film, so that "last year" has a foothold. "Fang Cong" shows that this tour is mainly to enjoy flowers. This means that they are all "fragrant clusters" that we have traveled hand in hand in the past, and we still have to revisit them all today. The poet showed his deep affection and cherish for his friends by revisiting the old place.

The next film is lyrical. The first two sentences are heavy sighs. "Get together and leave in a hurry" means that it is difficult to get together, but we have just met and have to say goodbye in a hurry. How can this not bring endless disappointment to people? "This endless hatred" does not only refer to the author himself, that is to say, this kind of disappointment and hatred between relatives and friends has never been exhausted since ancient times and even in the future, which has brought great pain to people. "Those who are fascinated by ecstasy are only others!" (Southern Liang Jiangyan's "Biefu") When friends meet and can't get together for a long time, the mood is naturally very uncomfortable. This sigh is the expression of deep affection for friends. The following three sentences are based on what you see in front of you to express your feelings, which can also be said to be a concrete explanation of the above exclamation.

"This year's flowers are better than last year's" has two meanings. First, this year's flowers are more prosperous and look brighter than last year. Of course, I hope to enjoy them with my friends. To say that "flowers are more popular than last year" shows that the author visited this flower with friends last year, which echoes the last film "at that time" and contains beautiful memories of the past; It also shows that it's been a year since we left each other, and this time it's a reunion after a long separation. The party is not easy, and the flowers are blooming so well. We should watch it more, but our friends are leaving. How can we not regret it? This sentence is about the bright and prosperous scenery, but it shows the sentimental mood, which is exactly what Wang Fuzhi said in the Qing Dynasty: "Writing sadness with pleasure".

The last two sentences go one step further: This flower will bloom more prosperously next year than this year. Unfortunately, I and my friends live far apart, so I don't know who will come to * * * to enjoy this flower at this time next year! Furthermore, I may leave here next year, and I don't know who is here to enjoy the flowers. Du Fu's "Nine Days Lantian Cui Shi Villa", "Who will know who is healthy next year, and cornus will be carefully watched when drunk", is similar to this word and can be read together. However, Du Fu's poetry is hurting the old, and this word is intended to say goodbye. It is a wonderful pen in the article to melt the special feelings into the flower appreciation, compare the flowers in three years, push them forward layer by layer, and write farewell with precious flowers, which is novel and poetic. And the weight of the other feelings also shows that the feelings with friends are deep.

Feng Xu, a Qing dynasty poet, said that Ouyang Xiu's ci poems were "sparse, generous, inspiring (Su Shi), profound, gentle and inspiring (Qin Guan)" (Examples of Sixty Ci Poems in Song Dynasty). This word is elegant, graceful and meaningful, and the evaluation of the close friend Yu Biyun shows that it has both characteristics.
